Many dropped calls inside my house and along Westlake Dr.and 360 in canyon by Pennybacker bridge. Otherwise, I am usually able to connect.

I've had issues with voice or audio cutting out multiple times on every call I make from the Shady Hollow area. Data is also slow.

Cell reception downtown keeps going from 3 bars to 1 bar and my girlfriends ATT does not.

AT&T: Horrible cellular signal. Very very difficult for both parties on each end of the cellular phone connection to understand each other. I am in a building with thick concrete walls, but have big glass windows and a balcony. The reception gets only a little better when I stand near a window or on the balcony. No other buildings surround my building, (On top of that my AT&T 4G data plan is effectively 3G anywhere I go in Austin. )

Never had a problem with Sprint until I moved to South Austin. Now it is problem problem problem. Just nothing but problems. Poor reception, dropped calls, missed calls, inability to make calls, calls going straight to voicemail, texts not working. It's terrible. And so is the customer service.

For about a year, cell service has been week in central Austin and West Austin even with a new iphone 6.

I have had AT&T for 5 years in Austin, TX. The quality of coverage has gotten worse. Even on a new retail-packaged phone, I only get 1 bar in most of of the city, 2 sometimes, and rarely 3 or more. I am often downtown, in South Austin, or in the Spyglass / Zilker area. Coverage is horrible all-around.

Lived downtown for the last 3 years and have had 2 different phones in that time and both consistently have had weak signal outside and barely working while inside. I never ask friends to do a speed test in front of me or it makes me want to cry. You would think a tech savvy place like Austin would have better cell service.
