One minute it's up, the next it's down. At night it works. It takes the day off, dropping calls to the point that it takes 2-4 calls to communicate a 3 minute message. Hey, but what's better? Was this review helpful to you?
Many of the calls I get I can't answer and the phone says "Unable to answer call". wtf??? Most of the calls I place discon before the first ring when I first try to place the call, but go thru fine the second attempt. Whatever. I switched from a Treo on Sprint which I was very please with until I moved out here to the east side and found that I couldn't use my Sprint phone AT ALL! They said they were putting a new tower up in about 6 months but wouldn't do anything in the interim, dispite me having a $500+ / mo acct. that kinda pissed me off so I switched to T-Mobile because my brother said his phone worked good at my house. I'd switch back the minute my contract was up except I'm starting to like this PocketPC phone with cell / bt / wifi! (yes! all three) Maybe Sprint will throw up a tower out here and pull their heads out regarding their w-e-i-r-d policy about crippling phone's potential network capabilities. Was this review helpful to you?
Almost every call gets dropped. Sometimes if I walk outside my frame house, I can complete a call. I hate T-Mobile and Sony Ericsson. Was this review helpful to you?
Dropped calls all over town but only one bar where I live. Was this review helpful to you?
Cingular drops calls all the time. Horrible reception at work (St. Edward's University on S. Congress) and also at home (Y at Oak Hill) The only time this phone gets decent reception is on the road when I dont want to be using it!Was this review helpful to you?
Terrible signal for blocks in all directions. AT&T and Sprint serve this area reasonably well. T-Mobile is about to lose a customer. Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T Wireless (GSM)
I loved ATT wireless until Cingular took over two or three weeks ago. Now it totally sucks and I have drop calls all the time. Customer service now really doesn't give a crap for some reason, probably because of all the internal turmoil within the comapny from the take-over.Was this review helpful to you?

SOS Only all the time. Nothing but excuses from AT&T.Was this review helpful to you?
I haven't had many problems with Sprint in Austin until now, but the signal coverage at the house we just moved to is absolutely abysmal. We can't really make any calls from within our house, we don't receive notification of voicemails or other messages, and even if we move outside, the signal only improves marginally with calls getting dropped probably half the time. Of course when I call Sprint they say they will set up a ticket with their network troubleshooters, but other than that, there's nothing they suggest to improve things. Was this review helpful to you?
I have been dreading to make a switch but the service has gotten so bad I just have to be able to actually have any conversations. Was this review helpful to you?
