AT&T

According to OpenSignal app, I am directly across the street from a cell tower, (the Radisson), still can't make a call, or if I do, it will drop the call.

No reception in house. Minimal outside on porch. Expensive. Will switch providers soon when I figure out who has the best reception on the east side of Austin. Leaning toward Tmobile

Poor to No Reception. Switch to 2g and reception improves sometimes. In general there's poor signal all round when youre on the street between tall buildings and often none to very poor reception indoors. Even on the 12th floor of AMLI ON 2ND facing lady bird lake / farmers market the reception is very poor.

No data or phone reception in East Austin CR 969 from Decker Lane all the way to the Austin Colony neighborhood past the toll. Please bring T-Mobile towers this way. I left AT&T and I think I made a big mistake so please help us.

Service is a joke for such a high rate. As mentioned above I do not see how this guys can be in business.

Moved from AT&T to TMobile this year because of price. Get very poor reception even in downtown. Cannot use my phone at all during large events - even though all my colleagues and friends phones on other carriers work well. Can't get service between here and Dallas for GPS except right around Waco, and can't get any service when I drive east. Have to use printed maps. No signal in East Texas. Will be switching back to AT&T or to Verizon. Price isn't that big of a discount to have such poor service.

The good: Voice talk and text was good. Voice talk wasn't perfect, but good enough..better than Tmobile. The bad: Weak signal for data. At work, I missed a video conference because my signal was to weak. I didn't have this issue with Tmobile(my previous provider) at the exact same location. Retail stores are horrible- I went to the North Lamar Verizon store location and the service was horrible. In addition, the store was run down and only had a few phones on display. T-Mobile beats the retail by far. For the $50.00 difference in cost on montly bills, I switched back to Tmobile. T-Mobile has a lesser talk quality, but as far as everything else goes T-Mobile is just as good and significantly less expensive.

Have tried to use service all over Austin, and can make a call about 20% of the time. Cancelled service, and received another bill for $96 AFTER service was cancelled... $91 for "service" plus late fee. Payments while service was actually on were on automatic payments, and were never late. Sprint rep advised me that porting number would cancel service- now Sprint says that information is wrong, and tough luck- pay the bill. I paid $91 a month for 2 years, and was barely able to use the phone.

I have had AT&T or its successor since 1996. Coverage seems to have degraded in Austin recently. People cannot hear me on my phone on a regular basis. I highly recommend going with another provider. My second iPhone 6 has not improved the situation.

At times, people cannot hear me at all. I hear them fine. It depends on where I am driving. SW Austin has known dead-spots and I have lived with this a long time. Driving downtown on business calls is wholly unsatisfactory - my reception to people going in and out depending on where I turn my vehicle. It projects a feeble and weak business posture to field business calls on a phone where people can't hear you. I am trying to switch to another carrier. My second iPhone 6 has not fixed the problem.
