Has been getting progressively worse since February-yesterday was outside front door and couldn't receive 2 calls no sound on my end-callers cd hear me. Is it not considered false advertising re cell phone service on the part of all companies servicing this area???Was this review helpful to you?
Lived in Austin a year and half and have never had more than 2 bars with AT&T. Not sure why the reception is so bad in a major city. I've had AT&T for 13 years and only have had an issue in Austin. Never an issue in Tennessee or North CarolinaWas this review helpful to you?
One bar most of the time. Periodically no service at all. All hours of day and night. Seems to be getting worse. Was this review helpful to you?
No or little service in and outside my house. Missed calls, call fails etc. Customer service not helpful at all an claimed it was my phone. They sent me to Apple Store to get my phone checked and there was nothing wrong with the phone. Yet they wont do anything except try and sell me a micro sell. Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T voice totally unreliable from my 7th floor downtown office. Outgoing calls fail about 50% of time, incoming unintelligible or going straight to vmail. Happening on several other phones in my office, all models. AT&T admits that its overcapacity on voice in this area, has done nothing to fix it, happy for us to continue to pay for no service. Was this review helpful to you?
Verizon is now terrible in Northeast Austin. I left Sprint when their tower went badly out of tune and remained so, from then on. Now, it appears Verizon is having the same issue. There are no tower climbers based in Austin, and they are in short supply around the country. There is no national certifying body for the profession. "Can you hear me, now?" "HELL NO!"Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T: Horrible cellular signal. Very very difficult for both parties on each end of the cellular phone connection to understand each other. I am in a building with thick concrete walls, but have big glass windows and a balcony. The reception gets only a little better when I stand near a window or on the balcony. No other buildings surround my building, (On top of that my AT&T 4G data plan is effectively 3G anywhere I go in Austin. )Was this review helpful to you?
Lived downtown for the last 3 years and have had 2 different phones in that time and both consistently have had weak signal outside and barely working while inside. I never ask friends to do a speed test in front of me or it makes me want to cry. You would think a tech savvy place like Austin would have better cell service. Was this review helpful to you?
