Never had any trouble with signal or dropped calls until my phone aged. ie. dropped it, threw it, ran over it, washed it, swam with it... Got a new one and excelent service. Wouldn't think of having anyone else for a provider. I travel quite a bit and go boating, and still got service when all my iphone buddies did not. :-DWas this review helpful to you?
The reception in our home is very bad, dropping voice. We used to have AT&T before, I will be going back. Was this review helpful to you?
Unable to receive texts from AT&T on the Sprint network after update from Sprint. Called Sprint service and Sprint said they had no means to test or diagnose the problem and attempted to blame their interoperability on AT&T although it was due to a Sprint update. They had no idea what was wrong and were unable to diagnose the problem. Completely incompetent. Canceled contract due to poor service and incompetence. Suggest Sprint users to cancel Sprint, rebel against contracts and excessive charges by providers. Was this review helpful to you?
My phone is useless on campus. Useless. I don't get dropped calls; I don't even GET calls. Internet, weather apps, news updates, sending texts--forget it. When I walk of campus, my phone jingles, and I have 20+ emails, texts, and voicemails. AT&T is worthless here. I'm not sure what I am going to do in this case, but since I have a lawyer provided to me through UT, I promise I won't be sticking with AT&TWas this review helpful to you?
I go to UT and service here sucks. I thought it was just me, but I know a couple of areas that no one gets good service. Seems pretty consistent that all phone companies are making people pay for no service, you're not alone! Was this review helpful to you?
Coverage in this neighborhood is great, but if you live in the 5350 Burnet apartments, you will need to buy a network extender. There is almost no service at all inside the building. This seems to be a problem for people on the first floor, in particular. Before I got a network extender, I couldn't carry on any conversations on my phone at all. Couldn't send texts, either. With the equipment, it's much, much better. My phone's GPS has no idea where I am when I'm connected through the extender, but that's fine. If I need to look up a map at home, I can just do it on my computer. Was this review helpful to you?
I just dropped off my daughter at Jester Dorm at Univ of Texas. AT&T has no coverage in a dorm with 3000 students! I was in the lobby and outside trying to call my daughter's cell and I had four bars (as did she) and no calls went through. You dial the number and you just get silence. I asked the receptionist in the dorm and she said it was long standing problem. This is crazy in many ways including the fact that I was staying on campus in the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center! This is one of the largest dorms in the US and there are no land line phones in the dorm rooms. How can AT&T not put up a tower nearby to fix this mess. Same problem with text messaging by the way.Was this review helpful to you?
I just moved to this location. Indoors, that is inside my house, I get essentially no reception. I can occasionally get a EV-DO network readout (with no bars), and I can get a ring through, but not enough signal conduct a full phone call or to keep the call from dropping 50% of the time. Outside, I get 1 bar, which is usually enough to finish a phone call. Ultimately, I will have to switch networks. Was this review helpful to you?
no bars in apartment. called several times and they just gave me some bs about how they couldn't do anything about it.Was this review helpful to you?
For being boost, it works really well, had it for a month, and only one dropped calls. I can hear the other party that I am talking to almost crystal clear. For being prepaid / 50 a month it is amazing. Draw backs are internet is super slow and text messaging always "downloads" the message and is A LOT slower than any other carrier I have had.Was this review helpful to you?
