I now expect to have each and every call dropped. Even if call successful, full of static, voice of person on other end comes in and out.Was this review helpful to you?
Poor reception inside River Place, especially by the clubhouse where my house is located. Was this review helpful to you?
T-Mobile service has been superb. With other carriers I have experienced unclear calls, problems making calls, and dropping calls. Since starting to use T-Mobile, my experience has improved dramatically. Was this review helpful to you?
I live in the oak knoll / mcneil area and I get perfect coverage inside my duplex and outside... . NO dropped calls and perfect reception. Funny that I put in my zip code for T-Mobile and was weary that I wouldn't get good reception according to their map, but I haven't had one problem thus far!Was this review helpful to you?
my cell phone only works as an alarm, occasionally I can text if I move around a lot and keep resending it. I hope I dont get into an emergency. if I do I think T-Mobile should pay for my funeralWas this review helpful to you?
I have always had really good service from Sprint never having dropped a call in my area or anywhere in Austin with this phone. My roommates Samsung phone drops a lot of calls though, seems like its all about how good your phone is.Was this review helpful to you?
With Verizon - Tons of lost calls Called Verizon about it today They suggested dialing *228send, then select option 2 to update cell phone towers in area for better reception The update worked fine and powered on and off my phone. But It did not help reception. Was this review helpful to you?
granted that I live in condos that were built in '73, I still can't get calls inside my residence. I drop 4 out of 6 calls, can't send text messages, and standing on my front porch doesn't help. My reception THROUGHOUT the Far West area is really bad. I was happy with my Sprint service while I lived near UT's campus. Since I have moved, i've had nothing but problems with my reception. I have to wait until i'm leaving my condo complex ( I don't know why I don't just call it an apartment... but technically... ) to check voicemails and return calls. I even went so far as to purchase a sprint-badged / branded passive repeater. It ALMOST helped. My roommate uses T-Mobile (i think), and he has few problems. Looks like i'll be picking a different carrier at the end of my contract. Was this review helpful to you?
After moving here from NYC last summer, I was amazed at how bad the service is all around. I had Verizon in NY (the only service to have in NYC IMHO), and here I was getting 2 bars. So I thought I'd switch and got some decent reviews from people about T-Mobile. At the west entrance into Canyon Creek on Boulder Lane, there is a spot that drops calls like clockwork. It used to happened with Verizon and it happens with T-Mobile. Always. At the house, I get 1 bar at most, and that is mostly when the phone is either charging or fully charged. As soon as I loose a bit of juice, I drop down to no reception. Driving around, I get 1-2 bars at most, but.. it is still usable and I have not experienced that many dropped calls, or inablity to SMS or email. Was this review helpful to you?
I've had some minor issues with Sprint in the past but nothing compared to what I'm dealing with now. By far, the most expensive cell phone carrier and where I live my reception is horrible. Was this review helpful to you?
