Sprint

I lose calls all day, every day. If I have an important call, I have to go outside. Sprint service sucks. I'm going to contact my state representative. I'm sure that during the upcoming legislative session cell phone carriers will be asking for something. Contacting our representatinves is one way to show our displeasure with the whole system, no matter which carrier you use.

Good T-Mobile coverage, but pretty often voice becomes garbled / fades out. Not a phone problem.

Worthless. About 30% of the calls I make from inside my house are dropped; including 3 made to T-Mobile customer service -(rich, isn't it). Granted, the phone is not exactly top of the line, but one look at their coverage map and I can honestly recommend to anyone who lives within a mile of the McNeil / Parmer intersection: Avoid T-Mobile like the plague.

all calls are dropped and I get cross calls where the person on the other side of the call hears other conversations.

Like another Sprint user mentioned earlier, I never had any problems with Sprint at my home in NW Hills until around March 2006 -- now, up to 1 / 2 of the calls my wife and I make get dropped! I can't begin to tell you how frustrating it is. I'm willing to pay the penalty to get out of our contract, but it looks like T-Mobile is the only carrier with decent reviews in NW Hills, and I've heard they have problems elsewhere in town. :-(

I've been a Sprint customer for six years and reception has been consistently good. Calls frequently get dropped at the 183 / Mopac interchange and at 2222 / Mopac. For the most part reception has been reliable.

I just moved to Austin from Colorado Springs There Cingular was decent with some but acceptavle dropped calls, but the thing is that places were that was happening were predictable Around Austin it is horrible, the bars are dancing up and down (mostly down) and I get no reception in many places The worst is that sometimes I see 5 bars but as soon as I try to place or answer a call boom, zero... gone! I have 4 more months on my contract and then asta la vista baby cingular

Reception with Cingular is fine. Verizon is slightly less but still acceptable, and T-Mobile is a zero.

In my house I tend to get between 1 and (rarely) 3 bars. This doesn't stop Sprint from dropping calls CONSTANTLY! In the evening it generally drops calls in less than a minute. Even outside on the deck calls get dropped. The worst thing is that the phone gives no audible notice that a call has dropped, so you happily continue talking until the long silence clues you in.

Works well in the apartment. Never had any problems. Seems to be better after Cingular bought ATT
