Sprint

In the last few months phone and data reception have dropped substantially. Now get dropped calls and no data service in places which had no problems in the past. I have been a customer for 12 years and am now looking to leave Sprint. Sprint will give you a 4G Lte map that shows the whole west side of Austin having 4G Lte, but on our Iphone 5 other than occasional momentary flashes of 4G Lte (not usable)as I drive 620 there is no 4G Lte. When you contact Sprint they provide excuses but nothing changes.

Verizon

Very bad reception in the house - unusable to talk. Have tried this with other phones and carriers in the same year and Verizon is consistently the worst for our area.

Sprint

2 Out of 5 (2 stars) | Lago Vista, TX | LohmanFord Rd., Leander, TX 78645 |

I have been with Sprint for the past 6 years. When I first started out with them they had relatively good service. for the last year and a half their service has really sucked. idk if its because the new smart phones coming out or what the hell but they suck. Im paying for 4GLTE and dont even get the service anywhere in the major city where I bought my phone. Im sick of paying for a phone service thats missing the service. Thats why better companies charge what they charge.

Every since Sprint switched to 4 G LTE, I am getting spotty coverage all over the Austin Area, bad at my home and almost non-existent at my office, can't even send receive Text messages. When is Sprint going to FIX THIS!

Sprint

0 Out of 5 (0 stars) | Parmer | McNeil, Austin, TX 78729 |

We switched to Sprint a few months ago, and the service has always been spotty, but it's been... well, you can't really even call it "service" anymore since we can't use our phones at our house. Calls are dropped repeatedly *every time* we make a call. And that's assuming we can even get a call to go out. Incoming calls are even worse. They don't show up, so we don't even know if we're missing them. We've called and been told they're doing maintenance, which seems to be the standard line, and we've done the online chat with a representative to diagnose the problem. Guess what, it's not our phone. But since going through that process and updating some stuff, now I can't even leave a voicemail for my wife if she's at our house. It rings about 8 times and then a recording comes on saying they can't complete the call. So we're paying them gobs of money every month for essentially nothing. The salt on the wound was when we called their service center and the call dropped a couple of times. They called back and asked us to use another phone to talk with them. I suppose irony is lost on corporate America.

Verizon

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Sarita Valley Near 2243 and Ronald Reagan Blvd., Leander, TX 78641 |

We just moved to Sarita Valley and the Verizon reception is pitiful. One bar both inside and outside the house. Phones on Verizon are useless here. I've been a Verizon customer for 15 years and they've always been top notch in Dallas and Virginia, but here all they could do was offer to sell me an extender for $250 which I assume won't work anyway, since the problem is not inside my house.

I've had Verizon for over a year, almost no coverage in the Parmer Ln and Brushy Creek area. I live 7 house from a Cell tower and my phone drops calls daily! It's so bad I'm changing to AT&T!

Neither of our phones keep reception while in our home neighborhood. I haven't had a home phone in 10 years, but I had to add one back so that we can make calls when at home.

Lots of hill where I live. 2 bars inside. I work at UT and inside my building it is 2 bars at best. Not sure if any other provider would be any better.
