I've had some minor issues with Sprint in the past but nothing compared to what I'm dealing with now. By far, the most expensive cell phone carrier and where I live my reception is horrible. Was this review helpful to you?
Nobodys cell phones works in the homes in this neighborhood. None of the carries will work. Was this review helpful to you?
Great reception. I do get dropped near the Elementary School on 620 on the car. Dumped Sprint on a Treo 600 for bad reception, no signal sometimes. Sprint customer service doesn't care anymore. They would rather argue than listen. I have only called T-Mobile once and they were fantastic. Was this review helpful to you?
We live on Red Bud Trail about a mile up from West Lake Dr.and consistently have 4 or 5 Bars... . I do lose my signal on West Lake Dr.from time to time in between Red Bud and Bee Caves Road. And I always lose it on Red Bud Trail winding along the rim of the canyon. Otherwise, I have great coverage in this part of town. Was this review helpful to you?
Although I have to give Cingular web "chat" customer service and later, 800 number help, the reception is non-existent at my home. Admittedly, I am in a depression near lake Austin below Mansfield Dam. There is a tower fairly close, but there is no "line of sight" to my home. I asked Cingular if I could use a "loaner" phone to see if my LG just wasn't good enough in a weak signal area, but they said "no". So I'm looking for another carrier. Does anybody know what carrier(s) are on the large tower right at the dam? thanksWas this review helpful to you?
No matter how many bars my phone tells me I have, when I'm in Austin, and sitting in my own house especially, my phone just drops. It often takes 4-5 phone calls to finish a conversation. The service is ridiculous. Was this review helpful to you?
Dropping calls all the time. 12 times in last 2 days. Verizon customer service re-programmed it, saying it was wrong from the get-go. Did not help! Don't know it's the network or the phone, but I'm hearing other Verizon users say the same things. Was this review helpful to you?
Little or no reception after trying multiple different service providers in this populated area. If one provider establish consistent quality reception, many in this area would switch. Was this review helpful to you?
My home is a black hole. I only have signal upstairs to use my phone. Regardless, callers report daily busy signals and "subscriber not in service" message when I'm not even on the phone. Calls end midsentence and my caller reports getting these responses when trying to reconnect. Outgoing calls take a ling time to start to ring, including checking voicemail. Outgoing text messages often require retrys to succeed. Incoming messages often delayed by 20 minutes. The voice quality is also incredibly bad. It's bad enough that I'll probably quit T-Mobile if they don't respond to my recent letter. This is a 'denial of service' situation and I don't care about my credit report, so they can forget the termination fee.Was this review helpful to you?
I recently moved from Boston, and I have been with Sprint for 5 years. I have never seen such poor service in my life. I never have service, when I do I am constantly dropping calls. I'll be standing still and my call will drop. I am trying to find a way to get out of my contract. Add to that the radom charges, illegal taxes, and over priced plans, and I say RUN. Dont do it.Was this review helpful to you?
