Had AT&T with a ton of problems years ago. Made the switch to Verizon and have had no problems now for years. (In the meantime, our neighborhood page is constantly posted with questions about AT&T outages and reception problems). Every time I see a new post about AT&T problems, I am once again glad we made that switch to VERIZON.Was this review helpful to you?
I can only get 0 -1 bar of service in my home. AT&T used to be good, but the last 18 months have been horrible for dropped calls, texts timing out not being sent. AT&T service suggests wi-fi calling in home. NO. my cell phon should work in my home as it had in the previous decade. WTF AT&T? Your service is bad. Moved here from DFW area where AT&T service was great. I am lucky to get 1-2 bars anywhere in Austin. Reception has gotten worse over the last 2 years. Now the only way to get reception at home is via WIFI. Called AT&T service, went through all the trouble-shouting protocols and they finally suggested that I might need to upgrade my phones. I find it very strange that both my phones would go out the same day. I confronted AT&T support with that and they agreed. They were no help at all! Based on all the reviews of all the carriers, I think the problem might be with the city of Austin. This is supposed to be a very hi-tec city but it sure has extremely lo-tec Cell communication.Was this review helpful to you?
Trying T-Moble was a huge mistake. The "Digits" app is complete garbage, typical of something designed abroad by someone who doen't even use the technology they are designing. Add constant service interuptions and the absolute worst cutomer service (illeterate and just plan stupidin the Philapenes) and you have complete idiocy. This got SO nasty the local T-Moble stone on South Lamar ordered be out of the store. I was tired of being dissmissed by these people. When I refuse to leave they actually called the POLICE on me! After explaing the situation to responding APD, the suggested "why don't we just stay here and watch over things while you try to HELP this man?" Though the issue was resolved that day, the ongoing problems just continued to continue. AVOID T-MOBILE AT ALL COSTS!Was this review helpful to you?
What happened!?! I'm from here. I've always had AT&T. It's terrible now! I just went on vacation to Seattle and my friends with T-Mobile never had any issues. I couldn't even talk with my husband at home - he had to drive nearby and said the same thing. He can't have a functioning conversation at home anymore. What the heck!? I always have 1 bar. Have had good experience until they just took away additional data after two years with no warning. Spent many conversations to get them to work with me for extra data until they resolve the issue. Frustrating!Was this review helpful to you?
Incredibly poor, unreliable service. I never have more than 2 bars, calls are dropped, calls don't connect, reception is poor if they do, and incoming go straight to vm. It's impossible to use phone for work purposes here. It's like cell service circa 1990.Was this review helpful to you?

Worst customer service. Website does not even work half the time. very time consuming having to be on chat or on the phone with Customer Service when you are already paying and arm and a leg for their service that does not work that great.Was this review helpful to you?
