Trying T-Moble was a huge mistake. The "Digits" app is complete garbage, typical of something designed abroad by someone who doen't even use the technology they are designing. Add constant service interuptions and the absolute worst cutomer service (illeterate and just plan stupidin the Philapenes) and you have complete idiocy. This got SO nasty the local T-Moble stone on South Lamar ordered be out of the store. I was tired of being dissmissed by these people. When I refuse to leave they actually called the POLICE on me! After explaing the situation to responding APD, the suggested "why don't we just stay here and watch over things while you try to HELP this man?" Though the issue was resolved that day, the ongoing problems just continued to continue. AVOID T-MOBILE AT ALL COSTS!

What happened!?! I'm from here. I've always had AT&T. It's terrible now! I just went on vacation to Seattle and my friends with T-Mobile never had any issues. I couldn't even talk with my husband at home - he had to drive nearby and said the same thing. He can't have a functioning conversation at home anymore. What the heck!? I always have 1 bar. This is not how it used to be.

Have had good experience until they just took away additional data after two years with no warning. Spent many conversations to get them to work with me for extra data until they resolve the issue. Frustrating!

Incredibly poor, unreliable service. I never have more than 2 bars, calls are dropped, calls don't connect, reception is poor if they do, and incoming go straight to vm. It's impossible to use phone for work purposes here. It's like cell service circa 1990.

Reception is the big issue just one or two bars only.

Worst customer service. Website does not even work half the time. very time consuming having to be on chat or on the phone with Customer Service when you are already paying and arm and a leg for their service that does not work that great.

Lived in Austin a year and half and have never had more than 2 bars with AT&T. Not sure why the reception is so bad in a major city. I've had AT&T for 13 years and only have had an issue in Austin. Never an issue in Tennessee or North Carolina

Been with Sprint for 10+ years after having AT&T (dropped too many calls). Recently Sprint has been off their game and customer service has got to be the worst I've dealt with by far! Call them only be told they will do something and they don't, like fix a billing error adjustment or call me back to confirm it has taken place. I think they will tell you anything to get you off the phone however they don't follow through on their end. Even if they give a confirmation number and note the issue - nothing is done and have to call them back again and again. Waste of everyone's time. When you call back they have a record of previous call but nothing done... 3 months in-a-row! Goodbye Sprint...

Signal strength is woefully inadequate and inconsistent. Not sure if any carrier is better but ATT in NYC was great. Now that we moved to Bee Cave area, it's been unbelievably disappointing and frustrating. I even bought the stupid ATT Microcell for $150 which reflects 5 bars on my phone but the signal quality is very poor. Ugggg. #firstworldproblems

I moved here about a year ago from DC and AT&T was the best provider in that area, when we got here 13 months ago AT&T seemed fine, however something has been going on with their coverage in the last few months, we've noticed a incredible increase of dropped and missed calls and slow downloads. I travel around Austin a lot for work and in the last week I've been paying close attention to my signal strength and 3 bars seems to be the average around town, however 2bars is not uncommon. It's gotten so poor that we are looking to switch careers.
