After complaining for years AT&T service is still very poor in Bee Cave / Lakeway area. Very hard when you cannot even call your kids cell phone a few housed away or even at the high school. Our neighbors keep land lines as to just keep in contact - yes wifi word great when your in your house ! But asking neighbors for access to wifi in order so you can see the game stats seems nuts to me.. I'm switching all 5 of our lines next year when we come of plan...

I have had AT&T for 5 years in Austin, TX. The quality of coverage has gotten worse. Even on a new retail-packaged phone, I only get 1 bar in most of of the city, 2 sometimes, and rarely 3 or more. I am often downtown, in South Austin, or in the Spyglass / Zilker area. Coverage is horrible all-around.

Customer for over 15 years. Poor to non existent service at house and local area SW of Austin. Installed boosters (at T-Mobile's suggestion). No help; however, T-Mobile made a nice profit. No quality service in Austin. Interesting, cell tower in close proximity and my TracPhone consistently works great!

While the speeds are fast in some area's, 1 / 2 of Westlake Dr. is either in E service or not working. The maps says 4G LTE but, its not accurate. In addition, the network is slow in downtown, zilker, and tarrytown. NO service when entering buildings in this area. Verizon is better option.

Sprint continues to shut down towers making reception ever worse - customer service continues to claim it is due to system upgrades but service never improves. Cant wait to get rid of this phone / service plan. Customer service is clueless, rude and will tell customers anything to try end the call - including a promised call back that never happens.

Hit and miss - mostly miss, was wondering why no replies to texts - becausee morph sent or do not receive replies. Poor reception and chronic dropped calls, I do receive iPhone messages to my iPhone but other carriers - not good. Heard all carriers are bad. What to do?

Can not use my iPhone inside my home. Do not get alerts or notifications of texts or emails. I constantly see neighbors outside making cell phone calls. Service is terrible.

Generally 1 or 2 bars outside, sometimes no bars inside, microcell worked when the DSL service was reliable, but now does not because I switched to TWC for internet. The issues on that (microcell vs TWC) are beyond the space and time I'm willing to put into it. Drops calls on 1431 between Jonestown and Lago. The price I have to pay for living out here?

Tmobile has been my carrier for 7 years now. Prior to having the LTE frequency I had poor coverage. With the purchase and installation of the LTE in the United states I LOOOOOVE my service. Not only do I pay a good taste but I have crazy download speeds. I clocked in 37 mbs a second which is faster then my wifi. I get 4g LTE everywhere I go here in Austin and every month in gets better. I saw alot of negative comments on here about coverage but I have yet to drop down to edge unless I am driving put to San Antonio or Houston my coverage drops to edge which is just phone calls for about 3 to 4 miles of the trip then jumps right back up. I am so happy that gave reinvested back into the company. I use my Internet so much I can't imagine how much I would pay in overages with AT&T or verizon. Shoot I can even share my internet with other ppl with the free Hotspot capability they give you. I also took a trip to Mexico city and took advantage of the free data roaming, international texting and wifi calling. It all worked like a charm and I didn't recieve any crazy charges. Everything was free just like they said. I am so happy I stuck it out with Tmobile. I can't wait to see how much more they grow this year.
