Both my personal cell (iPhone 7) and business phone Samsung are maybe 1 to 2 bars and dropped calls are frequent. Used to be good reception here but has gotten worse over the past year or so.

I never have more than three bars, typically two. Internet often times out and it's always slow. Moved here from DFW where I never had an issue. For being a tech hub I can't figure out why AT&T here sucks so bad.

1 bar at home hear just 2-3 miles from downtown. Can drive within 78704 for miles and never get a consistent data connection. Very frustrating when using apps that rely on the data connection. Had Verizon previously and it was much better in this same zip code.

I’m getting 2 bars max in SW Austin with ATT. I drop data and calls on Mopac at Davis Ln daily. The coverage appears to be getting worse over time.

Had AT&T with a ton of problems years ago. Made the switch to Verizon and have had no problems now for years. (In the meantime, our neighborhood page is constantly posted with questions about AT&T outages and reception problems). Every time I see a new post about AT&T problems, I am once again glad we made that switch to VERIZON.

I can only get 0 -1 bar of service in my home. AT&T used to be good, but the last 18 months have been horrible for dropped calls, texts timing out not being sent. AT&T service suggests wi-fi calling in home. NO. my cell phon should work in my home as it had in the previous decade. WTF AT&T? Your service is bad. Leaving after 15 years as a customer.

Moved here from DFW area where AT&T service was great. I am lucky to get 1-2 bars anywhere in Austin. Reception has gotten worse over the last 2 years. Now the only way to get reception at home is via WIFI. Called AT&T service, went through all the trouble-shouting protocols and they finally suggested that I might need to upgrade my phones. I find it very strange that both my phones would go out the same day. I confronted AT&T support with that and they agreed. They were no help at all! Based on all the reviews of all the carriers, I think the problem might be with the city of Austin. This is supposed to be a very hi-tec city but it sure has extremely lo-tec Cell communication.
