Never had reception so bad, but I moved to this neighborhood a week ago and I can barely catch any reception in my apartment and have dropped calls constantly. Even outside of the apartment I have noticed there is no reception in nearby restaurants or cafes. Was this review helpful to you?
Lived in Austin a year and half and have never had more than 2 bars with AT&T. Not sure why the reception is so bad in a major city. I've had AT&T for 13 years and only have had an issue in Austin. Never an issue in Tennessee or North CarolinaWas this review helpful to you?
One bar most of the time. Periodically no service at all. All hours of day and night. Seems to be getting worse. Was this review helpful to you?
I commute from Northwest Hills to approximately I-35 at Parmer. If I start a conversation in my driveway, it never fails to drop 4 times on my route. It seems to be getting worse every month or so. More frequent cutting out and altogether dropped calls. I feel like I am talking on my 1996 StarTac flip phone (with 1996 cell coverage) instead of a modern iPhone. Was this review helpful to you?

Have constant dropped calls and seldom more than one bar signal strength. Horrible service! Reviews suggest other carriers are little if any better. What to do??Was this review helpful to you?
Have to go outside for calls in my apt. Otherwise I continually get a dropped call =(Was this review helpful to you?
Service is a joke for such a high rate. As mentioned above I do not see how this guys can be in business. Was this review helpful to you?
The good: Voice talk and text was good. Voice talk wasn't perfect, but good enough..better than Tmobile. The bad: Weak signal for data. At work, I missed a video conference because my signal was to weak. I didn't have this issue with Tmobile(my previous provider) at the exact same location. Retail stores are horrible- I went to the North Lamar Verizon store location and the service was horrible. In addition, the store was run down and only had a few phones on display. T-Mobile beats the retail by far. For the $50.00 difference in cost on montly bills, I switched back to Tmobile. T-Mobile has a lesser talk quality, but as far as everything else goes T-Mobile is just as good and significantly less expensive. Was this review helpful to you?
I am in house and ideal location (open location no big buildings not many trees, neighborhood with spread out small wooden houses, central city location) 4G reception. I am getting one bar to two bars most of the time. Am new here and have not tested GPS but I doubt it is going to be useful and am on this website today looking at different carriers. Am really disappointed to see what poor coverage all the carriers are giving in a progressive city, like Austin. Sounds like Austinites ought to stand up and force the issue. Was this review helpful to you?
