I had Cingular for over a year and in El Paso, it just flat out sucks. The phone roams over to Mexico carriers and you get charged with the roaming charges. I asked Cingular to take roaming off my phone(s) and they said it couldn't be done. So I was charged around $10 more each month just because I wanted to answer my phone calls. Was this review helpful to you?
With Sprint, at home, I get either 0 or 1 bar; about half the time, no service at home. Also, no service in the hospital at 1625 Medical Center in central El Paso 79902. Mostly decent service elsewhere on the westside, except frequently calls diverted to phone mail even when phone is on, what's that? I am definitely looking for a better mobile service. Was this review helpful to you?
I have had Cingular for over a year now, and I hate their reception. I get a lot of dropped calls, my service jumps back and forth from Juarez cell phone providers (Telcel, Movistar and a weird 334-03) so I cant make / receive calls, and if I do I am roaming. I am sick and tired of this, and all of what Cingular tells me is that there is nothing they can do about it. I pay a good amount of money for my plan (which sucks since I rarely have service). If you keep encountering problems with whoever you have service, file a complaint with the FCC. I just filed mine, I mean you have to do whatever it is so you can get your moneys worth, and if they dont listen someone will. I am curious about trying Ampd or Helio does anyone know anything about their service? ThanksWas this review helpful to you?
I have no problems so ever with my phone I still have my PUERTO RICO area code and I have no kind of problems. Perfect reception! I am really proud of my services. Was this review helpful to you?
A definite dead spot on I-10 near the Sun Bowl, from Schuster exit to Executive Center exit. Mountain between I-10 and UTEP campus may be a factor. Was this review helpful to you?
The Best company ever! I have been with Sprint, T-mobile, and Nextel, and none of these compare to the service I have received from VZ.Was this review helpful to you?
My mother in Miami My wife and I all have Tmobile. It works ok for the most part but I get almost no reception in the barracks in longknife village on Biggs. Futher-more for trainning at donna anna t mobile gives the worst reception. Others in my platoon have T-Mobile as well (with much more expesive phones than mine) and they encounter the same lack of reception, also it's a pain trying to get the goverment employees discount from t mobile with spirnt I just had to show my ID.Was this review helpful to you?
I have had Verizon for 13 years used to be GTE. I have never used another carrier, but know many people that have. Verizon has the best coverage, period. If you are on any CDMA network you will most likely get good service. CDMA(sprint, alltel, and Verizon). GSM is not that great and can not handle mass call volumes,(T-mobile,cingular) You can try the other carriers but Verizon works everywhere! Was this review helpful to you?
I have to be walking outside my apartment to get a signal. Even then I have to cut my conversations short because my call is usually dropped in a few minutes. Was this review helpful to you?
