Verizon
In my work with the military, I travel out to the maneuver areas and test ranges on Fort Bliss, McGregor Range, and all over White Sands Missile Range. I am able to make and receive calls while several co-workers are not. That is my biggest selling point for Verizon - quality coverage when I need it. Downside is that this quality comes at a price - I know I pay a bit ($5 to $35) more than co-workers, but at least mine works!

El paso and surrounding area reception sucks. Galaxy S6 Edge

Extremely slow, no internet unless your at a free wi-fi location. Your paying for a free service. Drop calls, dead zones. While the person next to me has Verizon and get reception both Internet and can make and receive calls. Big rip off service. I think it's only in the El Paso area that Sprint is not good.

Sprint's LTE is a joke in El Paso. Nearly everywhere in the USA Sprint actually works pretty well. Sprint would have been better off improving their 3G here than upgrading to LTE. I've been all over the world and used local carriers who's 3G works better than Sprint LTE with full bars here in El Paso. Even in the rain Forrests of Costa Rica, the deserts of Israel, Kuwait, Iraq, or isolated islands in Thailand I was able to consestanlty get 10-15mbps over 3G. With a perfect signal and within eyesight of Sprint towers anywhere in El Paso, I'm lucky to get 0.5mbps over LTE. Another issue is that I keep getting threatening messages from Sprint saying I'm roaming too much... All while not even having left El Paso. Is it my fault if they say they have coverage in this area and then aren't able to provide it?! I've been here for over a year now and have upgraded from an LG G3 to an iPhone 6S Plus and have never seen any improvements.

Very bad coverage. Internet is always sloww. Not 4 g quality. Called customer service several times. They'll tell u . That their working / updating towers to be patient for a couple of days while "towers are being upgraded" but coverage neverrr improvesss. Lasted only one month with themm. Sprint is not worth the monthly bill they try to charge

Sprint lured my to buy their 4G phone by saying how great it would be, but they didn't bother to install the infrastructure and after about 2 years I gave up on them. Having been a customer for like 15 years, I tried to give them every chance, and they honestly didn't seem to care. Finally switched to Verizon and it's been great. Don't waste your money on Sprint. I'll NEVER go back after repeated pleas for improvements, they never even replied. When I could get a person, they seemed to acknowledge they were bad, and gave zero assurance they would get better!

Only place I'll get good connection is with my Wi - Fi router. Other than that T - Mobile reception at EL is horrible. I can't wait to get out of their contract. When I go to far east of the base, connection goes from bad to worst. Sometimes I'll get good connection in the west side of the base but that is very rare.

New towers have improved coverage at the intersection of Loop 375 and Spur 601, where previously "4G" and LTE were both almost nonexistent. Traveling north on Loop 375, coverage has also improved, on par with Verizon, which dominated the area for quite some time. Nonetheless, it's great to see AT&T finally implementing cell sites in areas that had poor coverage.

Weak signal and slow data. Leaving Sprint after 10 years.

Have not had any problems at home. However, at work, on Fort Bliss, near the airfield, I didn't use to get good reception, but now I usually have a signal in my office. Previously, I had to walk to the window to get any consistent reception.
