If I don't have my wireless on from ATT I cant do much. T-Mobile out in the northeast at least from our house is not very reliable. I go out on the loop and its pretty decent. On the east side I get full bars and super fast data. I don't have a expensive phone either. I have a LG Optimus 9. But for the purpose of this review in the 79934 area it can be spotty at best until you get up on the loop or by transmountain. thanks and happy celling... .****Was this review helpful to you?
Sprint lured my to buy their 4G phone by saying how great it would be, but they didn't bother to install the infrastructure and after about 2 years I gave up on them. Having been a customer for like 15 years, I tried to give them every chance, and they honestly didn't seem to care. Finally switched to Verizon and it's been great. Don't waste your money on Sprint. I'll NEVER go back after repeated pleas for improvements, they never even replied. When I could get a person, they seemed to acknowledge they were bad, and gave zero assurance they would get better! Was this review helpful to you?
Good signal LTE. Haven't had any issues since I swapped from Verizon to T-Mobile. I love the service and the super fast internet. Hope T-Mobile continues to expand their coverage even more. Was this review helpful to you?
Verizon has been amazing for me in El Paso. Both at home and across the city. I currently have a 3g phone and have never had a problem with speed so I'm really looking forward to my new 4g phone! Was this review helpful to you?
Only place I'll get good connection is with my Wi - Fi router. Other than that T - Mobile reception at EL is horrible. I can't wait to get out of their contract. When I go to far east of the base, connection goes from bad to worst. Sometimes I'll get good connection in the west side of the base but that is very rare. Was this review helpful to you?
The Sprint service is so poor here in El Paso that the Mexican cell towers frequently steps in a provides coverage for Sprint phones. This causes international charges on my phone almost every month. Yes I can turn off roaming on my phone, but then I would basically have an iPhone5 paperweight since I would have better chance of finding a chupacabra before a decent Sprint signal. Was this review helpful to you?
New towers have improved coverage at the intersection of Loop 375 and Spur 601, where previously "4G" and LTE were both almost nonexistent. Traveling north on Loop 375, coverage has also improved, on par with Verizon, which dominated the area for quite some time. Nonetheless, it's great to see AT&T finally implementing cell sites in areas that had poor coverage. Was this review helpful to you?
Weak signal and slow data. Leaving Sprint after 10 years. Was this review helpful to you?
Used to have AT&T and had major problems, even in my own home got reception from telcel (mexican cellphone) IN MY OWN HOME! Not to mention no where near the border. Since Verizon have been happy good signal and in the area I live is only carrier to actually work. passing BearRidge horrible on any other networkWas this review helpful to you?
4 years with sprint. I have tried to give them the opportunity to upgrade their towers and their signal, but anywhere in the northeast, you are lucky to get one bar, and be prepared to be dropped. Going over Hondo Pass, forget signal. This is the worse service here in El Paso I have ever had. The amount paid for service with unlimited should be worth it, but it is a waste of money. Was this review helpful to you?
