Sprint

Sprint reception sucks all over El Paso. I just bought an I phone 5 and made the mistake of going with sprint, big mistake!. I will eat the charge for breaking my contract with Sprint and will go with Verizon.

I keep connecting to service providers in Mexico (Movifan and TelCel) and keep getting texts telling me that my overseas rates are now in effect however I am still in the US this is really frustrating.

Noticed everytime it actually rains which is very very few times a year, my cell loses data service and ends up in domestic roam. And it takes forever to repair! Last repair took 3 weeks! As much as people pay for service, it should not take over 72 hours max!

Verizon used to be rock-solid until their 4G rolled out. My coverage and their customer service is so bad they're letting me port my numbers while still under contract without paying early termination fees. I used to be very vocal regarding Verizon's outstanding coverage and even sold them. Lately they have become increasingly inept in every category. Not sure how the coverage in Ruidoso is (always great on Verizon but that was voice) but I now use data so much more over 1X voice service. Going to miss my unlimited data but Verizon has enraged me to the point where it's not too big a deal. AT&T's 3G(HSPA+) is way faster than Verizon's LTE(I am lucky to get over 4mbps down) and gets at least 6mbps down and a shorter ping time. That's where I'll probably go even though T-Mobile has faster speeds on their HSPA+ but they truly suck for voice. Even though I don't use voice much anymore, they were a crap chute of a carrier when I had them. Wish they had got bought by AT&T.

I spent over 450 dollars to drop my service with T-Mobile, it was worth every penny. I still had 18 months left on a contract with 2 phones and couldn't stand this service. Calls dropped all the time; no matter where I was or if I was inside or outside. I had 4G on both and the only way to get that to work was to be outside. Standing out in the elements with a cell phone and a computer tethered to it was not a fun thing to do, especially in rain. Even outside the 4G service I was paying a premium price for, was spotty at best. It constantly switched from 4G, 3G all the down to no G. Oh, by the way, don't even try to get T-Mobile to work on FT Bliss or White Sands. I originally got the phone in Dallas so that I had a phone. Traveled to Kileen and the only way to get it to make calls was to stop, get out of the car and then make a call. 4G wasn't even something the phone would receive. Drove from Kileen to El Paso and the only thing the phone was good for was a camera and videos. I changed the phone out to a different model when I got to El Paso and kept it 5 days. I swapped it again to a different model, got the same results. T-Mobile sucks and all I see them as are modern day pirates and pan handlers. They sell something they know is crap but still want your money.

I recently moved from Colorado Springs and had no 4G coverage. I now live in El Paso and there is still no 4G coverage. WTF! I have been paying for 4g for years and it is pissing me off.

I have a 4G phone and reception is great here and mostly everywhere I go. Never have an issue and compared to other service providers its like from night and day. People show me there T-Mobile and AT&T "4G" phones and it ddoesn't compare to LTE speed. If ur looking for a service provider Verizon is the way to go for sure.
