Absolutely terrible service in Denver. I pay WAY too much to not be able to make and receive calls from my home in the middle of a major metropolitan city. Until I moved here, I never had a problem with reception, and didn't understand why AT&T got such a bad rap. Now, I wouldn't recommend AT&T to anyone anymore. Was this review helpful to you?
On the corner of E. Evans Ave and S. Adams St. (7 blocks east of the Evans and University intersection) or 2 blocks of Observatory park, T-Mobile reception here is unbelievably bad. I am almost always on EDGE. Every now and then there will 1 bar of 3G, but those moments are few and far between. Signal strength typically varies from -107dbm to -101dbm. Moving away a couple blocks in most directions definitely helps. About 4-5 blocks away is very strong 3G coverage. Looks like I'm just stuck in a Bermuda Triangle of T-Mobile reception :(Was this review helpful to you?
In one room I get no reception, other rooms I get 2 or 3 bars. Had AT&T and Verizon previously (over 2 years ago) with similar experience - actually slightly worse. Was this review helpful to you?
by phone is pretty much unusable at my house in SW Denver. Reception is decent other places, like downtown. it even works in the mnts better than it does in SW Denver. I have tried many different Sprint phones in SW Denver and none of them work well. Was this review helpful to you?
Dropped calls all the time, crappy connection most of the time, lousy company to deal with. Was this review helpful to you?
Every other call is dropped in downtown Denver. This has been a problem for years with AT&T.Was this review helpful to you?
80 to 90 % of calls are dropped at my house. seems to work fine other places, downtown is fine, reception is even better in the mnts, than in my house in SW Denver. Was this review helpful to you?
My cell phone usually shows a decent signal (3-4 bars) and yet I still get multiple dropped calls almost everytime I talk (whether at home, driving, walking, shopping, etc.) on my cell phone. It's extremely frustrating and I am tired of all the DROPPED calls. I've been a faithful customer with AT&T since 2005 but don't feel they are doing enough to expand their tower coverage. It's time to switch carriers! Was this review helpful to you?
I get great reception. Every now and then I adjust my location within my house, but it's pretty much always good. Was this review helpful to you?
We've had our Motorola Razrs for about 8 years. They're outdated so we're updating to the iPhone 4S. Our service with ATT over these years has been consistently good except for the static we get on voice calls. We've had very few cases of not being able to dial out or receive calls from our home at Sheridan and 52nd. Occasionally, we might get a "network busy" indication, but the auto-dial always connects on the 2nd try. We are very confident that our phones will always be able to send and receive calls. In general, we've not noticed that the reception at 52nd and Sheridan is any different from elsewhere in the Denver Area. We're going to upgrade to the iPhone in which ATT is the only 4G carrier at the moment I think. Hope we don't make a mistake by not going with Sprint who consumer report's seems to think is godlike in Denver. But the reviews on this site would seem to indicate something else... strange times these are indeed. Maybe pigs will fly soon. Was this review helpful to you?
