Sprint
I have had Sprint for over two years. Ever since I received the service I have had problems. I have NO service at home (5 blocks east of DU) NO service on my lightrail commute to work,(either direction) or at work. I spend a majority of my time at these places which makes it pointless to have a phone. I was led to believe that it was my phone, which at the time was a brand new Nexus S. Not having money and being in a contract I just dealt with it. Eventually when I would get frustrated I would go to the store to see if they could do anything, but unfortunately whatever they did the service never improved. I then decided at the end of the contract to get a new phone. I bought the iPhone 5S in September of 2013 to see if this would improve my service. It did not. I took it into the store a couple of more times this last time the gentleman reseting my phone said that poor service is something that we just deal with in Denver. He had a Sprint phone, an HTC with all the bells and whistles including 4g etc. but he said he gets terrible service. I then called into sprint, the rep I spoke with was nice, she offered some solutions including sending techs to look at the towers in my area (both at home and work). She also suggested sending me something called an airwave so that my phone would at least work at home, she also asked that I wait 3-4 days for the technicians to complete their work. Unfortunately I am unable to use the airwave because I do not have access to my shared router, and I have given the technicians 3 weeks and nothing has changed. I called to send the air wave back, and to ask what my options are for my non existent service. The new rep was also nice, I asked how much to terminate my line and she said 350.00. I told her that this would be my last option, she really left me with no other option as she just agreed and began processing the termination. She asked if I would recommend Sprint to friends and family and I said no the service is terrible, and wouldn’t want anyone to have to deal with that. It has literally made me miss calls from my boss (which being on call for my job is pointless anymore), miss appointments due to maps not loading or times for transit no loading, miss texts and calls from loved ones making them worry. She then transferred me to her supervisor to leave a message. However I didn’t want to pay the 350.00 since they have not provided sufficient service for the price I had been paying. I called and was directed to talk to a floor supervisor. Victoria was her name, after telling me repeatedly that I would have to pay the fee she than began to suggest that I wasn’t being forthright about my service not working. I can tell she had a rough day cause she was unpleasant, but I did not let her get to me. I told her I take screen shots of my failed calls, server not found error messages, blank screens, loading screens that take several minutes, roaming, extended network, and all other screens. I told her that I have hundreds of these. She then said "you have that much of it failing but how many do you have of it working?". She than said that the system shows great service in the areas I am in. She assumed I was only taking pictures of a small percentage of time where my phone service was not working. I asked how much data I was using, she replied 1GB. 1GB and I have unlimited data! Believe me I am trying to use a lot more than that! She than said that no matter what I say I am not getting out of paying the early termination fee. I told her that we had a deal, I pay for service and you provide said service. She said that the service is not guaranteed, that may be right but to me it sounds like bad business. I will never, ever use Sprint or recommend them to anyone.

i will say we dont always have 5 bars but when we have at least 1 bar the 4g lte speeds are amazing. I switched from Sprint when they offered to pay the etf and my girl switched from Verizon because of the price. we are pretty pleased with the service so far. there have been some issues but they have been fixed. the price for the service is also quite accpetible. someone on our family plan went to canyon city on a trp and also said she had very little issues with signal even way up in the mountains. using the speedtest app I clocked T-Mobile at 19 mb download and about 10 mb upload! thats faster than century link at my house! they also offer text and calling useing the wifi your connected it as a way of getting around deadzones in homes. its been so so for me I prefer using T-Mobile super clear signal though. I would recomend this service if you dont like paying so much for Verizon or haveing the WORST service with sprint. try to get to them before the etf payment offer expires.

I live in reunion and have no bars at all. I have to connect my phone to WiFi just to use it at home. T-Mobile doesn't seem to care that this entire neighborhood is a dead spot.

The reception is fine if you don't move. If you walk one block, you drop service to get 2g. The concept of a cell phone is that it is mobile. I drop calls all day with T-Mobile. Just switched to Verizon and it is excellent.

Sometimes takes up to 2 or 3 minutes to connect when making a call... . drops constantly... calls don't come thru many times... I notice neighbors all outside trying to get service as well. My friend visits and half her calls never come thru when she used Sprint. She hated the service here as well. Excuse: building new 4 G towers (for over a year now).

I can not state enough how awful Sprint is. No recep. Constant dropped calls- back and forth from customer service and the store-- one says it's the device- the store says it's the tower. Either way no one is fixing anything and I never have service unless I am connected to my airwave- which I had to pay an additional $100 for. Go with any carrier except sprint!

I have been told that there will be a new tower here by the end of the year and am receiving a $40 discount in the meantime.

very poor reception, Sprint cust service sucks, blamed it on the phone, went and got a new phone, same result. I use Sprint for work and personal, both have gone down to crap in last month. I drive all over the metro area for work and reception is bad all over.dropped calls more than doubled in last month ( both phones, all over town) cannot send a pic text, it times out and shows 1X by the bars, takes for ever.service used to be good in most areas, something has changed but they deny it.

There is very little coverage in Congress park / Cherry Creek north. We are in a black-hole, it doesn't matter the provider. Root Metrics has accurate visual coverage areas in 80206, check it out: rootmetrics dot com compare-carriers / denver /
