Very poor reception (two bars on a good day) and calls are dropped quite often.

There is a Verizon Wireless store on 29th Ave and Sheridan Blvd.but I only get one bar with poor data and call reception. Not sure why. Verizon supposes to be the Big Red with great coverage. That was then. I have been with Verizon Wireless since 2000. It costs more than anybody but at least it's service and quality were great then. That was the reason I stayed with Verizon. I am rethinking my next step.

Visiting from out of state and have never had worse reception in a major metropolitan area than I have in Denver. No more than two bars in any location in the downtown area; no reception or one bar at best, as a general rule. I live in a small rural area in the Midwest and can't believe that my signal is so much better there than here. Absolutely abysmal.

Had a Nokia phone through a family member's AT&T family contract account and eventually got my own phone (LG) through T-Mobile. With AT&T I NEVER had a dropped call, a call that broke up, a text that wouldn't go through, or anything that diminished what I considered really good service. When finances allowed, I decided to go with T-Mobile and experienced the exact opposite in service. T-Mobile tried telling me it was my phone, which I believed. At least until I met others with T-Mobile service in this general area with different phone models but experiencing the same crappy service. I did take one person's advice though by going "prepaid" until I had tried out the service and decided whether I liked it or not. So even though I'm out the $100 for the phone I am at least not in a two-year contract with T-Mobile at this point. So I may well have to put out some money for another phone but I'm going back to AT&T where I know I'm going to get decent service regardless of where I am or where I go. I would not recommend T-Mobile to anyone regardless of how good the price or deal may seem. You will be wasting your time, your money, and deep in debt to Excedrin for headache medication.

Absolutely no coverage in the bus terminal for T-mobile. Switched from Verizon who does have coverage... Bad Idea!

We have been in this area for years and the service has always been poor. We ended up getting a microcell at no cost after many, many phone calls complaining. With this our service has been much better. But another issue we ran into is the microcell only works on a broadband line. i.e. Comcast or AT&T uverse. When we switched to a satellite internet service our cell service went back in the dumps. What to do? Doesn't look like anyone has good service in this area.

We have had a continuous decade-long contract with ATT in 4 states. Was decent coverage till moving to Denver 5+years ago. Service has gotten especially, progressively worse in the last two years. Our area is "riddled" (ATT service rep's words) with homes sent Cisco micro cell units that connect to ATT over the internet. Even with that the calls drop most of the time. 5 or 6 times in 20 minutes is not usual. We are shopping around, but the alternatives don't sound much better. A relative with ATT from out of town came for a family affair and said Denver service is terrible compared to Kansas City area in every way. We have ordered a non-ATT landline number in desperation for a decent uninterrupted phone call at home. We are shopping for another carrier, but the feedback we are getting for our area is not encouraging... no matter which carrier we use.

At my home address I had to get a booster so I could get calls. BUT this is still what is happening with my phone. I would get the calls, but shortly they are dropped. I live 2 miles from their NEW tower. Reception is awful all the time. My wife has a newer phone and it will not work. We have given up on using her phone. My phone will get a call, but whoever calls will get dropped almost after you say hello. I went into one of their offices and they told me sorry! I said I wanted to cancel my service and they said sorry! you have a two year contract. If I cancelled I would have to pay their fees.

Since I've been with Sprint (about 10 years) I've had more phones than I can remember. My last 3 were the HTC Evo 4g, Samsung Galaxy S3 and I just got the LG G3 and no matter what I've read or heard from other people, IT IS NOT THE PHONE! Sprint just sucks. The ONLY place I've ever had consistently good reception is in the middle of Wyoming where there is nothing in sight for as far as you can see, let alone a cell phone tower. I'm not even roaming in the middle of nowhere but at home and work (in Boulder) it's constantly switching to roaming and I'm still lucky to get 2 bars.
