Verizon
I don't get any signal off the main street, and only occasionally get 1or 2 bars on the main street. The closest tower seems to be at Evans and University, but the signal fades in less than 1 mile from there

I switched from Verizon to Sprint due to lower prices as I needed to get a larger family plan to accommodate my brother and his wife. Currently, sprint is average. From home: I can make calls - no problem; browse the internet- no problem; do video calling - no problem. The quality of the voice during phone calls is inferior to Verizon and the Internet speed is surely lower (speed tests for Verizon ranged between 8-16 Mbps whereas Sprint ranges 1.1-8 Mbps). This is not the biggest deal breaker for me as I have never been a heavy data consumer (although I might increase my data consumption with my new smartphone). I don't regret switching yet as I have not had bad experiences as others have. I will update in a month once I have had a chance to go all over town, the mountains, and other cities. P.S. This is my first week with Sprint

I have t mobile broadband for my laptop and both are painfully slow. I have been to the store on Colfax and they give me a different stupid reason each time why it is slow. I have the with fi for my phone and going east out of town it pretty much is useless. It seems like its getting worse and t mobile staff are worthless. They all act like they hate their jobs. I'm switching to at&t. T mobile sucks!

I live in an older house and I can send and receive calls and browse the internet without problems. It takes a bit (20-45 seconds or so) for me to stream podcasts from my phone and I can send texts (multimedia, plain texts, etc.) as intended. My phone gets on average 3-4 bars (out of 5) but that does not impair functionality or other signal-dependent functions. Overall, not bad. I will be switching carriers, though, as Verizon has become too expensive for three lines (looking at Sprint or T-Mo... will update when I switch).

When there is not a well attended Rockies game Service is always unbelievable, download speeds around 10 to 20 MB, I have run a test at 4 AM before and cold 50 M Service is always unbelievable, download speeds around 10 to 20 MB good call quality with the occasional drop call, while I can sometimes pull close to 60 MB a second @ 3am..,,three times faster than my Comcast and I'm no three times faster than my Comcast hard wire! I do notice some dead zones up in the Highlands across I 25 but I'll deal with

Terrible or no reception in the heart of Glendale. Very disappointing. We moved from Chicago and assumed it couldn't be much worse. We were wrong.

I live in Parkhill (Colfax and Monaco) and work downtown (16th and Sherman) and I have to say I mostly get pretty good service. I occasionally have trouble connecting on incoming calls, but very rarely do I get a dropped call. Based on what others are seeing in these reviews, I have to believe the only people unhappy with their service are commenting here.

Terrible reception in the Denver area. We don't even receive half the incoming calls and have to continually restart my iphone to get text messages.

I don't know why the service is so terrible here... .I thought this area would have great service between D.U. and Cherry Hills?! When I asked why my cell service was so bad in my neighborhood, the Verizon sales staff said "oh yeah you life in the bowl area where there is bad service but you can get a signal booster for only $275.00," Please! They practically ask you for your first born when you sign the contract for a smart phone... . these providers basically have an monopoly and charge an outrageous fee compared to what they charge in Europe?! Why are we putting up with it? Cattle mentality? MOOO

Visiting from out of state and have never had worse reception in a major metropolitan area than I have in Denver. No more than two bars in any location in the downtown area; no reception or one bar at best, as a general rule. I live in a small rural area in the Midwest and can't believe that my signal is so much better there than here. Absolutely abysmal.
