AT&T
cingular has the worst reception i've ever experienced with any cell phone carrier... not only am I dealing with poor reception several of my clients say they receive a message that says my phone has been disconnected... with all the choices out there for cell service, Cingular is the worst along with poor customer service.

Get good reception with this phone inside the high rise at 12th and Grant (but chose this phone specifically for good reception.) There are cell phone antennas on the building itself; believe they are Virgin or T-Mobile.

Have little or no reception inside the home. Gets moderatly better when outside, but only on the side of the building the cell towr is on (and you can see the tower two miles away). Draps and 1 bar only anywhere within a mile west, north and south of home.

Only have one or two bars of reception. Many times, depending which way I am facing there is no reception. This is the very central part of the higher priced homes in Greenwood Village and Verizon is like having two tin cans on a string.

great service, used to have AT&T but it was terrible. TMobile is great around here

I was with Sprint for 3 years and I finally switched to Verizon. What a difference! No more dropped calls, calls going straight to vail, no more getting my vmail the next day or possibly even a week later, people can hear me clearly without having to shout and the coverage area is much better. I was in the mountain town of Silverthorne, Co for 4 days during Thanksgiving and my Verizon phone never died even though it was on all the time and being used moderately. With Sprint my fully charged phone would be nearly dead in 1 day because it was constantly roaming and searching for a signal. This was without any use as well. Verizon > Sprint

Very poor and sometimes no reception at all in the Eastridge subdivision (Between Iliff Ave. and Yale Ave., Havana St. and Peoria St.). Consistent with multiple phones using Sprint. Signal outside this area is good.

I have called Verizon Wireless dozens of times about the poor reception here, and even offerred to put a tower on my Richmond home--not only to improve it's curb appeal--but never get help. they always suggest *228 but that never helps. Lowry to Stapleton on Quebec is a cel service nightmare. I've tried multiple phones--which means extending service with Verizon--to no avail.

It's a miracle I can get any calls anywhere on campus. Inside or outside. I constantly loose calls and have torun around outside to find a signal. When I call my own phone more then 50% of the time it says that I dailed the number wrong instead of ringing or going to my voicemail. It is aweful. They absolutely need another tower around the area.

Maybe it's our cheap Motorola v180's. My partner and I have experienced horrible service with Cingular in Denver and Salt Lake City since "upgrading" to the v180's last December. We started experiencing poor service in Utah last year when Cingular acquired AT&T. At that time, a Cingular salesman talked us into ditching our perfectly good TDMA phones for the new v180 CDMA sets that supposedly would solve all our problems. Since then, ever-worsening service has frequently had us on the verge of walking into the closest Cingular outlet and smashing our phones to smitherines on the floor in a show of abject frustration and rage. Dropped calls. Failed calls. Calls that are "received" but never ring before going to voice mail. Unintelligible garble and static. Incoming and outgoing calls that are answered but one party can't hear the other. This sadly has become the norm. It's time to smash phones or get off the pot.
