I get one bar at best lose service when I come in to Brighton East Farms. The farther I am away from the houses the better reception I get.Was this review helpful to you?
I've been a T-Mobile customer for 12 years. Their customer and tech service has always been great. About 5 years ago T-Mobile started their "upgrading of towers" to improve service. Since then their cell service has been constantly going downhill. I do get very good reception in my house with the 4G LTE booster (provided by T-Mobile for free) that broadcasts over my home LAN. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4 which has 850 mhz (mega hertz) as the lowest frequency it can receive. The lower the frequency (mhz), the better reception inside of buildings and in rural areas. I was recently told that T-Mobile had stopped using one of the LTE bands that my phone utilized (planned obselesence?). NewerT-Mobile phones can receive 700 mhz on band 12. Only their brand new LG V30 ($800) can use their newest frequency, 600 mhz on band 71. So the bad news is I need to buy a new phone with at least the 700 mhz band 12. The worse news is that many of the people writing these reviews have those phones and their ratings don't paint a pretty picture. That leaves the worst news, buy the new LG V30; however, T-Mobile techs tell me that it will be 18 or more months before Denver will have access to the new band 71 at 600 mhz. So, maybe I just "suck it up" and wait until Black Friday or better yet, 2018 when rumor has it T-Mobile will add quite a few new phones with the 600 mhz band 71. In the words of Yoda, "May the reception be with you."Was this review helpful to you?
I will be switching carriers as soon as my contract is up.Was this review helpful to you?
The coverage in this area is awful. Consistently miss calls at my house — calls that don't even ring on my end — and have to move to a different part of the house to send texts to non iPhone users (iMessage works fine because of wi-fi). Simply ridiculous. FYI: Sprint and AT&T don't work any better. Verizon doesn't seem to have any problems. Was this review helpful to you?
Luckily at home I have somewhat reliable wifi. Everyone seems to have terrible reception all over Brighton. Services here are terribleWas this review helpful to you?
Reception has degenerated even more the last few months. I rarely have more than one bar now. Calls break up and drop. None of the other carriers seem to be any better around this area. Was this review helpful to you?
poor service, very hard to get receptionWas this review helpful to you?
I really wanted to put no reception but somehow my father is usually able to talk while in his bedroom via speaker on the main floor. Impressing to say the least, my 7 is spotty at best while dropping 8 / 10 calls while inside. Out front or back is not much different, common small cell in Park Hill, after coming home from working directly for Verizon in Kentucky and Ohio I was really surprised only to see it paralleling the highway going up to Blackhawk and Central City. I'm sure some big plan is in the works to justify what we spend monthly for unlimited part of thy time calls. =D Thanks! H@pWas this review helpful to you?
