Do not waste your money on an extender. We did. We are 1 Mile from a tower, but we can not stay connected to a tower. Our Booster will not stay hooked up Either.

As with other responders, I have been experiencing a slow reduction in service from Verizon over the past few years. There is an area, essentially south of 104th Avenue, north of about 80th Ave. and west of Wadsworth where Verizon coverage is absolutely at a zero on most days. Verizon is well aware of this situation (we have had numerous "engineering tickets" issued in an attempt to determine signal strength and system shortfalls. Essentially, Verizon has responded to these requests by verifying their signal in this area is "poor" and recommending that I look for a different carrier. Reading the reports here, it would seem that, in Colorado at least, there are literally no good options for reliable cell phone coverage from any carrier. I can tell you that, in my opinion, Verizon ranks at the bottom of the barrel.

Reception in our area had declined from 3-4 bars to 1 or no service in the last couple of months? Why has are service declined so much and what do you plan to do to fix it?

We just moved to Erie (Arapahoe Ridge) bordering Lafayette. It is terrible, THERE IS NO RECEPTION at intersection of 287 and South Boulder Road. Why wont city of Lafayette and Erie allow to put up new tower, so bad for commerce as well. Apparently the NIMBYs dont care or the city to do anything about it. I talk to Verizon but said they fall on deaf ears. We should have people stand on all corners of 287 and South Boulder road and protest with signs, where is the (cell) signal? Honk if no service !!

I get one bar at best lose service when I come in to Brighton East Farms. The farther I am away from the houses the better reception I get.

I've been a T-Mobile customer for 12 years. Their customer and tech service has always been great. About 5 years ago T-Mobile started their "upgrading of towers" to improve service. Since then their cell service has been constantly going downhill. I do get very good reception in my house with the 4G LTE booster (provided by T-Mobile for free) that broadcasts over my home LAN. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4 which has 850 mhz (mega hertz) as the lowest frequency it can receive. The lower the frequency (mhz), the better reception inside of buildings and in rural areas. I was recently told that T-Mobile had stopped using one of the LTE bands that my phone utilized (planned obselesence?). NewerT-Mobile phones can receive 700 mhz on band 12. Only their brand new LG V30 ($800) can use their newest frequency, 600 mhz on band 71. So the bad news is I need to buy a new phone with at least the 700 mhz band 12. The worse news is that many of the people writing these reviews have those phones and their ratings don't paint a pretty picture. That leaves the worst news, buy the new LG V30; however, T-Mobile techs tell me that it will be 18 or more months before Denver will have access to the new band 71 at 600 mhz. So, maybe I just "suck it up" and wait until Black Friday or better yet, 2018 when rumor has it T-Mobile will add quite a few new phones with the 600 mhz band 71. In the words of Yoda, "May the reception be with you."

I will be switching carriers as soon as my contract is up.

The coverage in this area is awful. Consistently miss calls at my house — calls that don't even ring on my end — and have to move to a different part of the house to send texts to non iPhone users (iMessage works fine because of wi-fi). Simply ridiculous. FYI: Sprint and AT&T don't work any better. Verizon doesn't seem to have any problems.

Luckily at home I have somewhat reliable wifi. Everyone seems to have terrible reception all over Brighton. Services here are terrible

Reception has degenerated even more the last few months. I rarely have more than one bar now. Calls break up and drop. None of the other carriers seem to be any better around this area.
