Verizon
Verizon drops nearly every call. I have spent half my life with Verizon tech and repair. Nothing has helped. Not extenders, not new phones, not moving about. Does anyone have service that works in Boulder?

I never have problems with my service or have dropped calls and I drive this route everyday! I have seen better service than when I was with Verizon and I was with them for 15 years!

Reception on Verizon is generally good around town. When I get an LTE signal I can use my phone for most things... but the moment I switch to 3G--it all changes; streaming music, siri, maps, web browsing... forget it. I tend to have to put my phone in airplane mode to force a switch back to even one bar of LTE. There are parts of town that do NOT get any cell reception--north boulder between Quince and Upland is a veritable dead zone, near Chautauqua is not great. However, my Verizon phone tends to get better signal than my work AT&T phone.

Lived here for over five years. Good reception the entire time on T-Mobile until about two months ago. Now calls are dropped consistently. No new construction in my neighborhood that would impact coverage. T-Mobile says the towers are congested and could give no date that it would be fixed. I'm using prepaid minutes on my old flip phone. Works great a few blocks away (in front of the T-Mobile store)! Also works great in Estes Park, CO. Plan to buy a smartphone and use internet wi-fi to make calls at home. Still researching best new mobile phone carrier. UPDATE: Bought a new LG K7 smartphone for T-Mobile at Walmart for 50 bucks. It uses the LTE updates on my local T-Mobile towers. New plan will cost me less than my old pre-paid 10 cents per minute plan (based on my usage over the past 10 years). Reception on this phone is GREAT!

Zero coverage in downtown Longmont and multiple surrounding areas. AT&T coverage here is horrible. I literally cannot get one bar of service through half of the city

Moved to T-Mobil from Verizon due to very poor reception in a very busy area at 287 and South Boulder Road, and my business being mostly from home. I had to go out side and often still dropped calls or poor quality at best with 1x service. With T-Mobil it is the same poor quality!

Verizon service was great in years past. However, in 2016 the Verizon signal in Erie has been terrible even on the second floor by an open window. I had to get a landline, and now I am ready to drop Verizon for a more reliable company.

Had Sprint through employer for 4 years and switched to Verizon through new employer a year ago. Horrible, horrible service with Verizon in my neighborhood and generally all around Westminster, broomfield area. Verizon was great back in NJ... ..not so here.
