Worked great in DFW, terrible here. Sometimes NO Service. Many dropped calls, garbled, unreliable. I will pay off my contract and looking to change. Researching options now.Was this review helpful to you?
Every once in a while, if I stand at the end of my driveway, I can get enough information to identify the person calling me so I can call them back on my land line. The only reason I have a land line is because I cannot use my cell phone at home - absolutely 0-1 coverage. I have free long-distance on my cell phone and have family in Ohio and CA. I can only call them while driving out of the area. I can predict with utmost certainty where exactly my calls will drop. We have three different phones at home and all of them do not have coverage. I despise my 2 year contract and will run to my new carrier the day it is up. Still not certain which carrier - but our friends with Verizon can use their cell phones at our house without problem. Probably Verizon will be my next roll of the dice. Was this review helpful to you?
With tourism an important part of this area's economy, why can't Broadmoor neighborhood residents see fit to approve a tower or two? There are plenty of mature trees in this area to mask a tower. Was this review helpful to you?
reception is consistantly 1 or 2 bars, hard to hear people most of the time. even from atop the hill I am on.Was this review helpful to you?
Just switched from Nextel to Sprint. Nextel had much better reception. The Sprint Blackberry makes your voice sound like you are talking in a cave. The Blackberry processor seems to be very slow. The unlimited everything plan is a nice idea, but not when you don't have very good service. I need to keep looking and return my phone before the 30 day guarantee expires. Was this review helpful to you?
Reception sucks. Most calls drop or just plain suck. Good job Verizon. I'm "in."Was this review helpful to you?
I don't have Virgin Mobile, but it's a Prepaid Service Plan, Net10. Throughout the city, from what I have noticed, I have usually 2-4 bars. Area I have noticed no service is 3-5 miles from the entrance to Pikes Peak, you lose your service. Was this review helpful to you?
Last night, from central Kansas all the way into Colorado Springs, all I could get was "Searching", even when I was within 75 miles of Denver. Could get no signal anywhere in Wyoming or South Dakota on a trip earlier this month. I purchased a cell phone in the event I needed highway assistance on a trip. Glad I found out how useless Verizon is before I do need help. Was this review helpful to you?
Almost impossible to make or receive calls anywhere in the neighborhood. One bar or no bars. Was this review helpful to you?
There is no T-Mobile coverage out here as of yet. I am trying to find information on a new tower proposed for the area west of pueblo. Any info on this please post to the forums in the T-Mobile section. Thanks :--)Was this review helpful to you?
