Have had Verizon for 4 years in Col Springs. Service has slowly declined year after year. So many dead spots in town... can't wait until our contract are upWas this review helpful to you?
How frustrating! So much business needs taken care of by phone when you first move to a new home and I can't get a signal unless I go to the far end of the block. The map shows towers all around me (practically in my backyard ) and I'm tied to a tower miles away! This huge corporation taking my money but expect me to spend $100-$400 on a micro tower for my home just to use their service. They don't deserve to be in business! !Was this review helpful to you?
I have lived near Orlando Fl, Wichita Falls Tx and this is the worst I have experienced. I am ready to buy my way out of my contract. Was this review helpful to you?
Nothing but problems since I moved here from out of state 8 months ago. About 3 weeks ago lost a bar of service. Last week called for help from T- Mobile finally when streaming became problematic everyday. Only yesterday, after calling again for help, did they bother to help me with a data "speed test". I was lucky that I persisted. I indeed had a low speed. Gotta say though that most of the representatives are great to deal with. Highly personable. It is with great disapponitment I find I must find a better phone company. They were great accross the board in Oregon. Here I don't think so! As retired disabled Veteran and getting up there in years, I need my phone service to function well at all times. Not getting that here. Was this review helpful to you?
Service is horrible - signal fails constantly and reception is (maybe) one or two barsWas this review helpful to you?
HORRIBLE! The guy at the store told us if we switched from Verizon, we would be paid 180 for each phone and then they would pay our final bill. Defiantly not the case! We paid our final bill of 560 with early termination fees, and will not be reimbursed. Even worse, we had to send our phones that we bought from Verizon and got nothing for them which we were guaranteed 160 per phone. I will never recommend Sprint to ANYONE! and once this contract is over, I will not be back with Sprint! EVER!Was this review helpful to you?
Like most carriers in Colorado Springs, coverage is hit and miss. Some areas the signal and speed are fantastic, and other areas it's terrible. Then you drive to the other side of a hill and it's okay again. I have the 100 minutes and 5 Gigs of data for $30 plan and often use my phone as a hotspot modem for my laptop and even play FPS shooters with it and it works great. I can even do this up in Cripple Creek. To get around the 100 minute limit, I just use Google Voice and do WiFi calling at home, or 3 / 4G outside. Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T if you're reading this know that the only reason to switch to another carrier is your horrible reception. Galaxy S6 Note 5 HTC none of my phones make a difference so I it's your towers that are responsible for this awful signal. What's the point of your overhyped LTE when it barely reaches 5 Mbps?!?!? I'm done with you! Had a friend, truck driver who migrated from you to T-Mobile only for that reason. Little to no reception! Shame on you for ripping off the people without investing the profits to inprove your service! Was this review helpful to you?
Using the iPhone and have never received more than two bars no matter where I go in Springs. Most of the time I with the good old no service message. Tmobiles solution is wifi calling. Def going to another carrier once my phone and iPad are paid off.Was this review helpful to you?
T-Mobile gives us the best voice signals and call stability when compared to AT&T, Verizon and Sprint in our area. Have used all 4 - AT&T being unusable. 4G / LTE data has also been good. Phones used: Samsung Galaxy S3, S5, Note 3 and Note 3. The newer phones seem to have more frequency bands for 4G data. Also when I've driven a long way, or travelled by air and I don't get 4G data; powering the phone off and then on may help. It forces Re-Registration on the local network and re-establish 4G data some times. I also use T-Mobile's issue assistant on my phone to report bad 4G data coverage (e.g. in Philadelphia airport) and they did seem to fix the issue after a couple of months. Was this review helpful to you?
