If you are near the intersection of Powers and Fountain don't even try to use your phone in doors. It says I have 3 to 4 bars but can't connect to my data network and I'm not receiving calls. Was this review helpful to you?
This is a trouble spot for AT&T, not sure about Verizon. Coverage is very good here on Sprint. There is no signal at all here behind Ute Valley Park on AT&T. Haven't had a dropped call yet on Sprint. Was this review helpful to you?

I am moving to colorado springs. If I live in North part of the city, Would Verizon be a good choice? I am inclined towards Verizon which works great every where else. Was this review helpful to you?
The reception is zero in this area. If you happen to get one or two bars when the wind blows in the right direction you don't get them for very long so it's not worth even trying to make a call. I am planning on paying out of my contract as soon as I figure out the best coverage for the area I spend most of time in.Was this review helpful to you?
I've suffered with AT&T wireless reception for years, iPhone 3G and now iPhone 4. This week bought a Verizion iPhone 4 for wife. FANTASTIC! Side by side, she has 4-5 bars, I have 1-2. If you live in Mountain Shadows, and are looking at the iPhone, DEFINITELY get the Verizion version. I would trade in my AT&T iPhone 4 right now, but there are rumors of an iPhone 5 coming out this year. Was this review helpful to you?
SE of the Colorado Springs airport used to be very hit and miss with reception. Something was installed or fixed. Reception is great now! Got great reception on Bradley Rd. all the way through to Curtis past Shriever AFB. Also North on Marksheffel from Bradley. Used to be some big dead zones. Reception does drop to two bars heading toward the Peterson East Gate. Also, Powers South to Fountain would be hit and miss. now no reception problems at all.Was this review helpful to you?
I have used Verizon for years without problems throughout the U.S. However, when I moved to Colorado Springs that changed. On the south end of town I get okay reception. However, as you move north reception decreases down to 0 bars at my apartment in the Briargate area where my Droid Incredible is now a useless paperweight. Looking for a new provider. Was this review helpful to you?
Poor reception in house. Have to stand near one upstairs window or on back porch away from house. Was this review helpful to you?
This area has a known signal issues and you will be lucky to get Sprint phone service, but NO data. Sprint has a "new" Airrave 2 unit that you can put into your house. It's a mini tower that uses gps and internet. This is supposed to be the fix, we'll see! I have been with all the companys between work cell phones and personal phones, T-Mobile has the best service in Colorado Springs. Was this review helpful to you?
