Verizon
I lived in Downtown Phoenix (7th St. and Washington) for 18 years. I stayed with Sprint for years only because I had a landline, and out of loyalty to a Kansas company. Several years ago I switched to Verizon, which afforded me "Five-Star Service" both at home and at work (10 blocks to the west). I moved to a new housing development (Alice Park) at 61st Ave. and Alice on 11-4-18. Suddenly it feels like I am in a "black hole" where Verizon barely exists. My iPhone shows me all of the phone calls I missed each day because of no coverage. At first I thought it was my phone. Then my movers, appliance deliverers, and even Cox Internet installers commented on the limited coverage in the area. It looks like I'm going to have to get a landline phone again, while still paying Verizon $65 / month for the privilege of standing in my front yard to make a phone call. It reminds me of the 1960s television sitcom, "Green Acres", in which Oliver (Eddie Albert) and Lisa (Eva Gabor) Douglas have to climb to the top of a telephone pole to make a phone call outside their farm house. Except I am living in 2018 in the fourth most populated county in America.

Been with Verizon over 20 years. Service use to be very good. Now service levels down to 1-2. Calls garbled or lost. No help from Verizon except a canned message.

Cell service is horrible here. At best you'll get 2 bars. It's usually no bars or 1 though. Calls made or received always cut off and you have to rely on WiFi calling.

I get pretty good coverage with AT&T just sometimes the loading of the web is slow or if you’re in a big building you’ll drop down to 4G. I was told Verison was soooo much better here, switched for one month and I didn’t get service anywhere I went, it was so awful and the data drained 4xs as fast. I switched right back to AT&T.

I actually have boost mobile. Which is a sister company to t-mobile. To be honest the service sucks no matter where I go or when I last paid my bill. I hate it going to switch soon but not sure what phone carrier I should go with.

Can almost never be understood when in my home office. Have to go outside to be understood. Very bad throughout the house.
