Sprint
Roaming in central phoenix! Really! This has been going on for a while now. I have had voice mail where the phone never rang. I have had people try to call me where the phone never rang. I contact Sprint and tell them this problem and I feel like they know it and only pretend to try to solve the problem. I think the whole company from top to bottom is dishonest and they will tell you anything to get you to sign up or keep taking your money. I am so close to dumping these a-holes and burning the contract.

I was thinking of switching to T-Mobile to save money, but after talking to T-Mobile users, reading reviews and now reviewing this site and coverage areas... I am staying with Verizon, I love Verizon coverage, WORKS EVERY WHERE! Customer service has always been oustanding and the only place I have ever dropped a call is on the 51 just north of northern when going through the mountains..I am glad I researched comments, thanks everyone for posting, it really helped me make my decision;-)

Sprint is spotty in this area (as it is in most areas of Phoenix). I do not receive good signal at my house and drop / do not receive calls multiple times per day. T-Mobile and Verizon both work fine in this area. Not sure about AT&T

Sprint network is the worst dropped calls at home and all over the valley. Only found 4g in a couple places in Phoenix. Not where I live. 3g is pathetic. Customer care is more like customer I don't care. Don't waste your money like I did. $4800 for this electric paper weight for service at the end of my contact.they're legally stealing from me. Don't let them steal from u. Stay away from Sprint!

Been with Sprint for several years and I'm not very happy with them anymore. I have a 4G phone and still not getting that type of service for it. They have been saying for a few years or more that they would get 4G and 4G LTE in the phoenix area. But has not happened and don't know if it ever will. Lots of times my reception is terrible and not clear enough especially when I'm at home. There is no excuse for this nonsense. I look forward towards going to another provider real soon. Many times my bars are 0-1, maybe 2 bars on occasion. Many areas away from my location the bars are more. What's up with this Sprint?

Have called Sprint for five months but they claim the towers are almost finished. Dropped calls, horrible quality of reception..cannot hear clients and losing business because of Sprint!

I am a very experienced in mobile telephony technology and used to test mobile phones (on all major carriers) as well as variious networks for prominent online websites. In the past year, I have moved to the area from the midwest in the past year. While overall coverage in Phoenix is not as good in some other major metropolitan areas, I have found that calls and tests in the greater metropolitan area of Phoenix to be very good with AT&T. Data services on LTE work well when outdoors, but due LTE's frequency, data services can be mixed in indoors. HSPA(+) services work have better building penetration and work much better overall in the area. Using a variety of test methods, I have found AT&Ts signal overall to be quite good, with Verizon's coming in a close second and T-Mobiles to be quite good as well. My test set indicates rather poor performance for Sprint in certain areas and with poor data connectivity throughout the valley.

Can not make or take a call when in my home or standing outside. Sprint is not a good choice for this area.

I had switched to T Mobile from Verizon not really knowing how well the reception would be. Once I heard that 4G LTE was now available in the Phoenix area through T Mobile I decided to give it a try. Switching carriers was the best decision I made this year, my bill is half the price, and my reception with T Mobile was much better than it was with Verizon. The bars for my 4G LTE signal is one bar away from being full, and if I happen to be in an area where the signal might not be as strong then HSPA+ would kick in.

Actually I am with Virgin Mobile as my daughter sent it to me from CA. I am on my third phone, no reception web either here or in Scottsdale where I just left at Via Ventura and Hayden. They use Sprint network and there is no coverage. My son is well versed on this and laughs at me that I am so techno stupid.
