AT&T
no reception practically indoors. barely outdoors. practically useless. Whats a good carrier brand to use anyway?

Except for T-Bird between 7th St. and Cave Creek, I NEVER have a dropped or lost call outside of my house, including Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale, Peoria, Paradise Valley, etc. But in the house - 1 bar signal, or it goes into Analog, or I lose it all and hear my phone beeping for voice mail! I love Verizon.. I wish they'd improve the signal strength around here!

At home (19th Ave, south of Dobbins, up against South Mountain) I get no reception. I have to go out on the balcony to even get a bar. And anywhere around town is a hit and miss. Even when I have a few bars, I tend to get a poor connection. Maybe its time they stop putting games and cameras on these phones and just focus on getting them to connect properly!

Tried two different phones after upgrading and still no service. tried calling home from mt. Shadows and the reception was terrible, kept breaking up. Best to said for Cingular is that it's not worth even looking into, service is virtually nonexistant.

I have been with T-Mobile since they were VoiceStream and the service has improved greatly in 4 years. I travel all over the country and have never had an issue while I was on their network. Anytime I am using a Cingular network however, that is a different story... . The rest of my family is on AT&T, which is now Cingular and I refuse to talk to them on their cell phones. They are constantly dropping calls and get no service here or in Utah. What a waste that merger was. I am trying to convince them to switch over to T-Mobile, but have had little success. They are eating up the lies Cingular is telling them about how service is going to improve.

Great Reception around all of Phoenix. Got 5 bars of signal with Verizon while my Cingular phone had no signal at all.

I spent a week at the mentioned location, and the minute I turned off of 48th street into the location I was working, I lost all signal. I was not able to use my Cingular phone and had to forward all calls to a Verizon cell phone.

I have had hardly any problems whatsover with AT&T tdma in all of greater phoenix, except in some buildings. I usually have signal where no other people do though

Worst experience I've ever had. Cingular will do nothing and I cannot use my phone in my home.

i have terrible reception in most of phoenix. AT&T was okay when I used the tdma, but I got a new phone that used gsm and it went way downhill. then they merged with Cingular and it's almost useless now. on maryland and 16th street, I have to walk away from the building I work at and stand in the street to get 2 bars. at home I always have 2 bars. driving down 15th ave between camelback and glendale I have zero signal. if I stand more that 3 feet from the north side of my home I lose my signal. I have to move 100 or so feet on the south side to pick up a signal... if tv can make it through your walls, how come a cell phone signal can't? i'm waiting impatiently for my agreement to end so I can switch to someone else. cingular / att must put very short towers in small valleys so the signals get blocked by every little rise.
