Inside home, you may as well forget because there is no service. Buch of useless lies we are told, coverage sucks in this area for some odd reason.

I usually have 1 to 2 bars at the most. Phone calls to me mainly have to go to my voice message where I pick them up later. I have to repeat a call out 3 to 5 times before I can get a phone call to go through to someone. (We will be putting a booster / repeater with an antenna on the house to see if that helps. We have double-paned windows and block walls.) I have not tried going outside to make a phone call. My friend has 3 different phones with 3 different phone companies because he travels around the country. He says once he passes the city light pole ouside, the service goes to zero on all his phones for all phone companies. And that is OUTSIDE the house.

I work @ the airport. I Was with AT&T but switched to Verizon. Verizons coverage is worse than AT&T was!

Bought great new iPhone XR at Costco a few days ago. The phone kicks serious booty, but at home I get only 1-2 bars and data speeds are appalling and throughput is glitchy on Sprint. Traveled around central Phoenix yesterday on public transit, covering a good 25 miles in all kinds of neighborhoods. I only briefly saw 3 bars and went through one spot with 4 bars, but it was over in five seconds. Then right back to 1-2 bars almost everywhere. Going back to Costco to see if I can ditch Sprint and go with a more reliable carrier, even if it costs more. I was leery of Sprint’s network and my concerns have proven to be well-founded. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

AT&T phone calls are good however internet is very poor I have to go outside to upload or sit in a certain place. However I strongly believe it is all the Carriers and just too many people and poor investments in towers. I had Sprint and it was worse, dropped calls with them. However AT&T customer service is even worse 70% if the time they hang up on you and you wonder why... hmmm low pay and all their customer service is in the Philippines... at $1.50 an hour cutting out America from their jobs what do you expect?

Anyone else notice the cellphone tower map shows almost 0 towers in any location within the Glendale City Limits? Explains my poor service at home and at work.

Services goes out in my home from 7am to about 11pm. Have to hold phone towards ceiling to get service. I work from home and I missed many calls, text, and emails. Even constantly resetting my connection via airplane mode it still sucks. Sprint was same here.

I lived in Downtown Phoenix (7th St. and Washington) for 18 years. I stayed with Sprint for years only because I had a landline, and out of loyalty to a Kansas company. Several years ago I switched to Verizon, which afforded me "Five-Star Service" both at home and at work (10 blocks to the west). I moved to a new housing development (Alice Park) at 61st Ave. and Alice on 11-4-18. Suddenly it feels like I am in a "black hole" where Verizon barely exists. My iPhone shows me all of the phone calls I missed each day because of no coverage. At first I thought it was my phone. Then my movers, appliance deliverers, and even Cox Internet installers commented on the limited coverage in the area. It looks like I'm going to have to get a landline phone again, while still paying Verizon $65 / month for the privilege of standing in my front yard to make a phone call. It reminds me of the 1960s television sitcom, "Green Acres", in which Oliver (Eddie Albert) and Lisa (Eva Gabor) Douglas have to climb to the top of a telephone pole to make a phone call outside their farm house. Except I am living in 2018 in the fourth most populated county in America.

Been with Verizon over 20 years. Service use to be very good. Now service levels down to 1-2. Calls garbled or lost. No help from Verizon except a canned message.

Cell service is horrible here. At best you'll get 2 bars. It's usually no bars or 1 though. Calls made or received always cut off and you have to rely on WiFi calling.
