Okay, so my daily area is longer than just the corridor, but I an very happy with AT&T from the heart of Phoenix were into Old Town. I never see it below 3 bars, Usually I'm getting 4or5. The data is nice and fast. Keeps me productive on my iPhone and iPad comfortable enough that I do not need to go back home or office for WiFi or Ethernet. I Tether my MacBookProRetina and stay reliably connected all the time. Client always ask me what carrier is best in this area. I am not biased, I'm constantly checking and comparing the 4 majors. Honestly, AT&T gives me the best constant coverage reliability. T-Mobile is a close second, but with data speeds on LTE sometimes 2-5X's faster. We recently dropped Verizon for incontinence, andSprint's data is simply horribly unreliable. All in all, we find the GSM carriers to be the most reliable with data devices, (AT&T,T-Mobile). V and S do okay with calls, but why use them for anything else? a CDMA carrier in the valley is truly a Superior choice! Was this review helpful to you?
It's almost humorous to see the BS that idiots post here... So many gullible, stupid consumers totally ignorant! If you live, work or play anywhere in Maricopa County, You need to get smart and use AT&T or T-Mobile. Get your priorities straight. Stop the ignorance! Stop believing the Propaganda and get in touch with reality! Verizon and Sprint suck in the Valley. You are not getting what you pay for! It's like you're burning money. WAKE TFU!Was this review helpful to you?
Horrible reception in and around Cityscape. When I go out to lunch it is very difficult to watch videos. They are always cutting off.Was this review helpful to you?
Service is gone downhill in the last three months. Signal quality and voice quality is poor at best. Almost never get LTE always downgrades to 3G.Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T data has been spotty at best all over the valley. AT&T refuses to acknowledge. Both my person iPhone and my work Blackberry are on AT&T and have same problem. Others I know on AT&T are experiencing the same problems. It goes to LTE but there is still no data. Was this review helpful to you?
Verizon is so bad here that every call drops, max 2 bars in north scottsdale, mostly 1 which is completely non functional. Super slow data, calls cut out and 2 / 3rds are dropped. After three call drops while I was grocery shopping, I finally broke down and bought an AT&T Gophone (android) at Walmart for $38. Activated it in the parking lot and drove all the way to south scottsdale with 5 bars, no audio issues and no drops. A $30 prepaid plan is officially far superior coverage to the plan we pay $330 a month for. Verizon is awful and their customer service is the only thing worse than their coverage in the valley...Was this review helpful to you?
Week Cell Signal - 2 bars sometimes less. Dropped calls 83% of the time for the past 2 years. Was this review helpful to you?
Dropped calls all the time. Goes from 1-4 bars without me moving. Towers don't move. This stinks! Don't even call for customer support. Those people are idiots, reading off a screen and not even from this country. Was this review helpful to you?
5 bars in my home. 4g lte not available as I write this review. If you're looking for phone service its great, just dont count on any data. Was this review helpful to you?
I switched to Sprint after 8yrs with AT&T becuz it was $50 / mo less. I travel in mainly central and north Phoenix, north Scottsdale, Carefree, Cave Creek, and Paradise Valley. 90% of the time I'm not on 4G, it's mostly Sprint's 3G or 1x. Even the 10% of the time I'm on 4G, it's never more than 3 bars. In spite of this, speaking on the phone seems to work ok most of the time(or at least it's manageable). However, the data speeds are inexcusable / atrocious. Was this review helpful to you?
