Very poor reception, and drops often, many time I don't even get 1X... disappointingWas this review helpful to you?
Okay, so my daily area is longer than just the corridor, but I an very happy with AT&T from the heart of Phoenix were into Old Town. I never see it below 3 bars, Usually I'm getting 4or5. The data is nice and fast. Keeps me productive on my iPhone and iPad comfortable enough that I do not need to go back home or office for WiFi or Ethernet. I Tether my MacBookProRetina and stay reliably connected all the time. Client always ask me what carrier is best in this area. I am not biased, I'm constantly checking and comparing the 4 majors. Honestly, AT&T gives me the best constant coverage reliability. T-Mobile is a close second, but with data speeds on LTE sometimes 2-5X's faster. We recently dropped Verizon for incontinence, andSprint's data is simply horribly unreliable. All in all, we find the GSM carriers to be the most reliable with data devices, (AT&T,T-Mobile). V and S do okay with calls, but why use them for anything else? a CDMA carrier in the valley is truly a Superior choice! Was this review helpful to you?

Horrible reception in and around Cityscape. When I go out to lunch it is very difficult to watch videos. They are always cutting off.Was this review helpful to you?
Service is fine as long as I'm in the city but let me go outside T Mobiles comfort zone I get butkiss. I'm planning a trip to Woods Canyon Lake this summer and worry that something might happen during those two weeks and I will have NO Service. Was this review helpful to you?

Signal Strength only 3 bars, sometimes lower. Was this review helpful to you?
I switched to Sprint after 8yrs with AT&T becuz it was $50 / mo less. I travel in mainly central and north Phoenix, north Scottsdale, Carefree, Cave Creek, and Paradise Valley. 90% of the time I'm not on 4G, it's mostly Sprint's 3G or 1x. Even the 10% of the time I'm on 4G, it's never more than 3 bars. In spite of this, speaking on the phone seems to work ok most of the time(or at least it's manageable). However, the data speeds are inexcusable / atrocious. Was this review helpful to you?

I have been a Verizon customer since 2001, when I started selling their phones and services at RadioShack and later at Wal-Mart. Back then, I truly believed they had the superior service. but since the advent of 4G LTE, their service has gone downhill. When I am at home, I am connected to my Wi-Fi, but I just checked my signal strength and I have NO bars and a -97dB signal strength, and there's are to cell towers literally a stone's throw away from me! WTF?!?! It's even worse wher I work! Mostly I get a half-assed 3G signal there that drops to 1X! And when I called Verizon techical support, they tell me that the nearest tower is at least a mile away, and I work in a high-traffic business park. Their "remedy" is to have my employer install a repeater in our building. Now, I just tried upgrading my phone before their new pricing model went into effect. I thought I was "upgrading" my phone, but it turned out to be a "downgrade". And for the "next best" phone (which had a retail price difference of $72), they wanted $99. To get a phone that still has an SD card slot (like my old phone) would cost even MORE! So what the "F" am I paying for???? I barely use half of my 2Gb bandwidth allotment, and now they want to charge more! I've had enough, If I were to decide to upgrade my phone later under their new "business model", I'd be paying a monthly phone fee on top of the contract! Just another way to stick it to ya! Verizon, YOU can stick it where the sun don't shine! Was this review helpful to you?
