AT&T
AT&T has not been able to provide the service that they sell, I have zero service at home, or at work, nor is there service in most places I visit. AT&T is a scam, and offers no solution for correction.

AT&T
Half the time I have NO SERVICE -- I'm lucky if I get 2 bars - but that quickly fades. I have to go to my car and drive a block away to be able to call someone (standing in the middle of the street also works but it is loud and dangerous! The most annoying is that ATT wants me to pay a monthly fee ($19.99) to add a Micro Cell ($199) to my internet connection (Cox) in order to get better service! Is that F**Ked or what? CLASS ACTION ANYONE? How cam they claim they have full coverage when there isn't a cell phone tower miles around?

Verizon
i get one to two bars most of the time over here when in other areas my service is full. 3G data is a joke. Picked up a new iphone 5 today in hopes that 4G would be a little better and to my surprise the signal strength is identical... whats with the clustered towers around tempe and east phoenix... ? cheap land? this needs some serious help...

Tried out the Iphone 5 with verizon. Signal dropped as soon as I got to Buckeye, and one or zero bars once I went into my house

AT&T
I have an AT&T micro cell which is supposed to boost the signal. It initially connects and call quality is very good, then it consistently drops and then the quality is so poor it becomes necessary to end the call. Cox Communications is my Internet provider so is it possible the Internet connection is the problem? I'm baffled and ready to switch to Verizon which everyone in the area says works fine wherever they are in the valley. How do I determine which carrier is better in Arizona?

AT&T
I have an iPhone 5 and my coverage is acting up, and I know that it has nothing to do with my phone because my parents's phones' down the street are acting up also.

Verizon
I've been with Verizon for about a year now on a grandfather plan that I had purchased, and the voice and data service has been good in comparison to reviews I have read from users on other carriers. In my area I usually average 4G speeds between 7-10 Mbps (download) and 4-9 Mbps (upload). Although these numbers may look good to some, they are not the best speedtest results I've seen on Verizon, which were around 18-34 Mbps (download) and 10-18 Mbps (upload) when I lived in Michigan. But the speeds I'm currently receiving in the Phoenix area are acceptable and enough to fulfill your needs when it comes to streaming any form of media.

Horrible reception - just got the phone and have dropped calls almost every time and the 2g service is what this 4g phone amounts too.

Sprint
Why does Sprint allow Virginmobileusa and Boostmobile to sell 4g phones in Phoenix when they don't have 4g coverage? This is ridiculous.

Reception and bars have improved TREMENDOUSLY over the last year and a half. Having some static issues recently on my old phone, due for a new one, but STRONG signal and no dropped calls.

Sprint
Constant dropped calls very slow to load, sometimes doesn't load at all really sucks considering I pay nearly 200 a month for three phones and all three get bad reception called customer service numerous times to no avail. They really should invest in better towers I think I will go to Verizon now.

As soon as I pull on my street my calls will drop. It also drops on Central Ave in various parts. I understand the structure of a home has an effect but friends get reception in my home and I do not unless connected to my wireless internet... ..

AT&T
I have exremely poor coverage in all areas, no coverage at all in south eastern Arizona. No phone; no data. Despite AT&T's mapped coverage and advertised claims, their service sucks bad! AT&T cannot meet their contactural obligation and should be charged fines for areas of poor service, as they would charge their customers.

Verizon
I like reading the comments on here because its amazing how ignorant people can be. No cell phone carrier can guarantee service within your home. They will not guarantee your service in an office, a warehouse or a mine. The structure of the building, placement of electrical units and building material all play a factor in this. Anyway, my Verizon service is perfect - always has been and always will be. I used to have T-Mobile and I wouldn't go back even if they paid me to use their service.

Virgin Mobile
Virgin Mobile is very good if you're a person who doesn't really travel much. I have NEVER lost service in the Phoenix Metropolitan area with Virgin Mobile. Decent coverage, amazing prices. WAY TO GO VIRGIN MOBILE! :)

I drop calls all the time when walking around my home. Sometimes people tell me that they call but nothing shows up in the call log. Not recommended.

The max amount of bars is 2 maybe 3 on a good day. We recently moved from 55th ave and mcdowell and I had way better reception. Within a hour of talking on the phone, it dropped my calls 3 times. The internet is slow. And on top of that through the day, its constantly network searching. My sister has cricket and that works like a champ.
