I get an average of 3 to 4 bars of LTE coverage. I live closer to 69TH AVE south of baseline.

I have been a Verizon customer since 2001, when I started selling their phones and services at RadioShack and later at Wal-Mart. Back then, I truly believed they had the superior service. but since the advent of 4G LTE, their service has gone downhill. When I am at home, I am connected to my Wi-Fi, but I just checked my signal strength and I have NO bars and a -97dB signal strength, and there's are to cell towers literally a stone's throw away from me! WTF?!?! It's even worse wher I work! Mostly I get a half-assed 3G signal there that drops to 1X! And when I called Verizon techical support, they tell me that the nearest tower is at least a mile away, and I work in a high-traffic business park. Their "remedy" is to have my employer install a repeater in our building. Now, I just tried upgrading my phone before their new pricing model went into effect. I thought I was "upgrading" my phone, but it turned out to be a "downgrade". And for the "next best" phone (which had a retail price difference of $72), they wanted $99. To get a phone that still has an SD card slot (like my old phone) would cost even MORE! So what the "F" am I paying for???? I barely use half of my 2Gb bandwidth allotment, and now they want to charge more! I've had enough, If I were to decide to upgrade my phone later under their new "business model", I'd be paying a monthly phone fee on top of the contract! Just another way to stick it to ya! Verizon, YOU can stick it where the sun don't shine!

No issues getting a signal through the entire metro area. Only issue was in my home and it was a bar or so. I went to a T-Mobile store and got a router and it seems to have cured the lack of signal in my home.

Too many call failures and texts unable to be sent. Called t-mob and elected for call back cause their lines were busy. Then received call back from them but still needed to wait! Crazy!

For all of 2005-2010, this area was a total dead zone. After recent upgrades, it now has 5 solid consistant bars regardless. 4G LTE data speed regularly are very acceptable. Depending on traffic volumes, I'm consistantly getting speed of 50mbps OVER A CELLULAR CONNECTION! Not even COX can deliver that in this area!

On 24th Street, a verified DEAD ZONE FROM MCDOWELL TO HIGHLAND 1-2 BARS in this entire zip code, Go south and devices are useless. Go North closer to Camelback to Glendale Ave., and 5 bars with unparalleled 4G LTE SPEEDS automagically kick in at record breaking speeds! No other carrier including Verizon can match it's speed in the Camelback corridor. HANDS DOWN! Save issues with many upgraded devices over 7 years.

The strongest carrier hands down or up in this whole area, zip codes 85013 through 85018 is AT&T. We do extensive daily tests comparing Verizon,AT&T,T-Mobile and Sprint. AT&T consistantly has the most signal dots 4-5, even if it dips down to2-3, data speeds and robust reliability are unaffected as far as quality usage goes. Verizon is average,T-Mobile occasionally will drop the rare call indoors, but data excels at unmatched speeds. By far the superior carrier in this entire county is AT&T.2. is T-Mobile,then Verizon with Sprint being a dead in the water with only 3G.

We even got an Airwave thru Sprint which was supposed to boost our network, NEGATIVE! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND SPRINT TO ANYBODY EVER!
