I have been on Verizon for 8 years - and in the first 3 years, calls were being dropped. As I think back, I have had a dropped calls in the last few years. I am hard of hearing, and it is hard enough to understand what people are saying, and heaven forbid a dropped call - only adds to my frustration. But, Verizon is expensive is all you consider is price. I need quality, dependability, and frustration free service. Guess, I have pay for it and stay with Verizon. Was this review helpful to you?
Great for a home phone service. Unfortunately works requires a mobile phone and Pinal County is zero data coverage (AJ, San Tan Valley, Maricopa, and I already knew the low population density desert like Bisbee is no chance). The caveat, Tombstone has the best coverage for 4G data I have seen. So Wyatt Earp is covered. Too bad he is already buried in L.A. To the comment of living in the middle of nowhere, Ocotillo and Dobson are far from low cost of living. Was this review helpful to you?
No problem live in a mobile home park and can even talk in our home. B etter than it is at our home in Wisconsin. Was this review helpful to you?
I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile 5 years ago because if I wanted to use my cell phone I would have to go outside. In the last 9 months, I have not been able to receive or make calls from in my house or outside my house with T-Mobile. When I get a couple blocks away I get a signal. T-Mobile gave me a signal booster for free but a couple techs have let it slip that I live in a pocket area of bad signal strength. I wish they would just be honest about their know problem areas. Was this review helpful to you?
We've had excellent service until a couple of months ago, then went to fair. Then past week, absolutely no cell reception. Sprint office on Queen Creek and Alma School said they've had many complaints from Sun Lakes. I first got the "pat" answer of changing from 3G to 4G that I've heard for several months. When I said it had gone to NO service (texts still work cuz it feeds off wifi) and we would have to change providers, they said they would send an engineer to tower and provide us with air tower since my husband is required by work to have a cell phone (we have no land line cuz we never needed it before). They said to give them 72 hrs to diagnose. We'll see.Was this review helpful to you?
Absolutely no reception in or outside.. Coverage is very spotty and laughable when I'm getting it.. Had to resort to an airave after months of calling in... Avoid Sprint at all costs. You're better off paying more for service you'll actually get elsewhere! Was this review helpful to you?
My service is okay over in Gilbert but very slow. When I lived in Scottsdale I could not even hold a call. I have the airwave they send out and it does work however, not compatible with all internet modems. Currently wont work with Centurylink. The price and plans are GREAT but I cant handle the undepenable service any longer. I am starting to think you do get what you pay for. Verizon here I come. Was this review helpful to you?
Works fine with 5 bar LTE coverage Galaxy Note 2 in most of the Valley but at home I struggle to get 1-2 bars 4g non-lte and wifi does better for data at home. Probably intel plant behind my house is to blame because it can cause interference. Still worth the money. But I can still receive calls and keep the conversation at home without a dropped call ever so at least the most critical function of the phone is trouble-free. No dropped calls yet. T-Mobile rules. Was this review helpful to you?
For the first two months of service with Sprint my phone worked perfectly with great coverage.( after regretfully leaving verizon) I am losing calls, not able to send text messages or use my pandora on my smart phone. I wish I stayed with verizon. this is ridiculous being in a large city and not having coverage to make 1 call without it being dropped. Was this review helpful to you?
I've been a Verizon customer for about 12 years. The service finally degraded to the point that I had wildly fluctuating "bars" and voice calls going in and out. This occurred for both of our phones, in and out of the house. Verizon first failed to follow up (techs not returning calls), then gave poor instructions (Mark 5-8 calls, then wait for us to call you back, when the system then "dropped" my ticket as I wasn't marking any more calls.) Then told it was SIM card (no, both our phones). Finally Verizon admits I am in a "marginal service area" that is getting worse because of lots of new customers. They MAY improve service in a year (how unspecified.) I was told to get a new piece of equipment so I could get my voice calls over the internet (yet continue to pay Verizon for service they can't provide.) FINALLY they admit I can leave Verizon without any penalty (contract fee)-- we'll see. I am told to "find another provider that works better" and switch. Of course, one can't know if the service is better until the change is made-- it could be worse, right? Any thoughts on a better provider in my area? Was this review helpful to you?
