i have Verizon and so does my sister. I have many friends in Milwaukee. I was doing some checking for a friend in Milw and she's having the same problem my sister and I have. We all have LG VX 6000 and 6100 lots of people in Phoenix and milw are saying they don't work at home. I read lots of comments here. The one thing my friends and family have in common is a Linksys wireless router. So i'm going to unplug my router and see if my reception changes. As an RF engineer I have seen examples of this with other types of RF equipment. Anybody else want to try and see if it makes a difference? Sometimes my cell will drop a call if open certain apps on my computer also. Expermentation time anybody? Was this review helpful to you?
always dropped calls. I have to go outside and stand in the right place. I looked at a map of Verizon towers on google and theres a huge empty spot in west Tempe. just to the south towers are about a 1 / 4 mile apart. near 101 and university there are about a mile apart. The best network, least dropped calls? Right and I have a bridge for sale cheap! Was this review helpful to you?
I live in Cambria just East of this intersection. 10% of the time I get 1-2 bars in one corner of my kitchen, other than that, NO reception and I have lived here over 2 years. Repeated complaints to Cingular (now ATT) and several thousand homes within 2 miles and still no service. Was this review helpful to you?
Have had T-Mobile for about two years now. It is the best I have used in the Phoenix metro area. I also have a Verizon phone for work, which is also good. I've tried AT&T / Cingular twice, staying for over a year each time, and it is absolutely the worst. There is hands down no comparison what so ever. Their commercials about fewest dropped calls also leads me to question their integrity. Was this review helpful to you?
I constantly drop calls all over the valley. The phone rarely rings on incoming calls and voicemails arrive anywhere fom 1 - 24 hours late. I originally thought it was the phone but it happens on my wife's 2 phones as well. Seems to have gotten worse since the Nextel merger. Was this review helpful to you?
Customer service not so hot at nearest phone center greenfield and Mckellips but better at superstition on southern reception not perfect but I live in a "basement home" means first floor slightly sunken below grade. I have 2 bars there but 4 bars at ground level or upstairs. Phone selection is not great prices, too high. They don't get payments that I have sent from inside post office 1 to 2 times a year. but I can get service most places I have been in the US. was told that Alltel shares version and Sprint towers get at least 5 dropped calls per month and get credit for 1 on automatic refund program text messaging can come in hours after the fact but generally reliableWas this review helpful to you?
In most of Las Sendas Alltel breaks up or cant access the network. Calls go straight to voicemail most of the time, Alltel needs to improve this area as Verizon offers much better service in the Las Sendas development in Northeast Mesa. Was this review helpful to you?
coverage is spotty at home. could be because of big trees in my community or big houses in my community, or even the lake. Was this review helpful to you?
I have to stand outside apartment to use. Actually saw another person standing outside to use their cell phone too. Asked him what phone he had and he said it was cingular. We laughed. I guess it's good to use Cingular if you like standing outside...Was this review helpful to you?
Both my husband and I have been experiencing repeated dropped calls within our house, backyard, and even in the street in front of our house. I personally cannot complete a 10 minute conversation without the call being dropped at least every minute. Within the last six months, and expecially the last two months, the problem has become ridiculous. Was this review helpful to you?
