I can be talking on phone. then all of a sudden no signals I lose call. I have 3 chairs around the back yard to sit in so maybe I can have a conversation without talking to myself. forget about using the phone in the house, reception there is worse. I can't remember the last time I saw 5 bars. I drive towards mckellips, I lose call. I drive on mesa dr near brown, lose calls. and they advertise the company with the least amount of dropped calls. i'd hate to see their competitors then

I used to have T-Mobile, which had great reception (pretty much everywhere I went - even other states), but their phone selection was pretty terrible. When Verizon started racking up awards for reception, I switched, and it has been pretty decent. I get reception almost everywhere I've been - New York City, Hawaii, California. The only downside is that they overcharge for service - I guess you get what you pay for. I thought about switching to Sprint's SERO plan, but I'm not sure if they could offer better reception.

Both my 8700 and my wifes Razor work great. Both inside of the house and outside.

I get a dropped call probably once or twice a week. Text messaging seems to be slow and won't go through at times. Sprint has been decent, but I am switching carriers because I am not thrilled.

Range anywhere from 1 to 3 bar of service depending on location. Never dropped a call.

Calls made from within our house always get dropped. Moving outside only lasts slightly longer before getting dropped.

No 85297 page so posting here (sent email requesting it be added). Across Power is Queen Creek so this will have to do. Bought home in west side of Trilogy off Recker Rd. Ran up $12 in Sprint roaming charges just inspecting the home on 2 visits. Dropped calls constantly. Also went into roaming in 85206 that previously had perfect reception. Latest bill says "Sprint added coverage, now better than ever!" Contesting the bill. Whatever they changed sux. Switched to Verizon due to word of mouth and Realtor had good reception in Trilogy. Mostly only 1-2 bars. Have had a few dropped calls but not nearly as bad as Sprint. Have also had noise but it clears up. Mostly, reception is crystal clear. Would give Verizon a 2. May be getting interference from Williams Gateway air traffic. They are going to build several hundred (thousand?) homes and a school just west of here. This is the fastest growing area in the valley. Give us a tower!

Reporting back after 3 months of service with Alltel after dropping Verizon. I have a decent 3 - 4 bar signal now at home with no dropped calls. A Samsung A645 was chosen for price (2 for $1) so can't compare to other models yet. I have equal or better signal quality in most Phoenix metro locations to what I had with Verizon and markedly better reception in some rural areas such as I-40 from Holbrook to NM and around Sierra Vista. Alltel Customer Service has been much more pleasant to deal with than Verizon's. The switch to Alltel has been a success so far for me.

bad reception on the main level of my house, acceptable ubstairs. weird huh? also, way better reception at night than during the day. I don't know why this is the case. but Cingular leaves much to be wanted in this area. sometimes I miss text messages because of it, and they show up a few hours later. but once I get out of the neighborhood, it's pretty good. bad luck I guess on where I live.

I have no reception at my house. I t is not my phone as anyone's cell can not maintain a received call or connect on dialed call. It has been this way since I moved in 2 years ago. Repeated calls to Verizon has no explaintion. They just tell to update my phone using *228 which does no good. They say that the nearest cell tower is 4.3 miles away. When I ask if that isn't outside normal range for good reception I get no answer. I an told to call a number and report the problem. I ask if new toers are going in for my area and they can, answer that either. Basicall I need to leave home to make a cell call. Really poor service. I sure don't have the network they advertise on TV.
