AT&T just got worse when they went to Cingular. Dropped calls all the time, and everywhere. Cricket is better than Cingular and Sprint! Was this review helpful to you?
Reception is great outside. Spotty inside when walls get in the way. Phone rings everywhere, but only NE side of house gets clear reception. Was this review helpful to you?
SW of Germann and AZ Ave. Cingular signal is very bad. Verizon is not good either. Test with friends' phone. T-Mobile coverage map shows it's weak area. No antenna in my area?? Should I test Sprint? So Sad...Was this review helpful to you?
Driving either north or south on Hardy between Gaudalupe and Baseline, service is sporatic. Often times calls are dropped. Called Sprint about it and they said there is no other reported trouble. Myself, girlfriend, and two roommates all have same problems. Was this review helpful to you?
If I drive 1 mile aways from where I live then I get excelllent service. There is horrible coverage here for verizon. Cingular is better. Was this review helpful to you?
Never a dropped call, strong service, and that holds true for pretty much everywhere I go in the valley (no exaggerating.) I'm mostly in the east valley(Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Tempe) but also Scottsdale and PHX, good in Glendale too. Only issue I have is the phone doesn't work well in some (I stress some) steel buildings. I was tempted to Switch to Sprint PCS because I really like the Treo 650 PDA Phone, and as of today (9 / 1 / 05) they've completed another phase of the merger (Sprint / Nextel), but I'm not reading good things about them. I'd like to hear more stories from Sprint PCS users. Was this review helpful to you?
T-Mobile was great in Cave creek / Carefree area but they do not have a cell near 101 and Warner so calls get dropedWas this review helpful to you?
signal is great... but that dowsn't matter because you always get "network busy" when trying ot place callWas this review helpful to you?
I switched to Verizon from AT&T back in 2002 and I have loved Verizon's service and enjoyed being on the "best network" until last month when I moved from Gilbert to Queen Creek. Service SUCKS to say the least. My phone is always searching system for a signal and draining my battery while at my house or within a mile radius of my house. My signal is weak coming down Ironwood Rd, but I can usually still make a call if I needed to. I do have to give Verizon credit though, they are at least willing to admit that Queen Creek is a hard area. They said they have a tower / antenna in Johnson Ranch which I think is true because if I go south on Ironwood towards Johnson Ranch I get a signal again, but at my house the service sucks. I am torn because I know a lot of people on Verizon, but it would be nice to have serivce at my house as well. So, we will see what happens, if I can find better service I just might pay the early termination fee and switch to something else. Was this review helpful to you?
CDMA seems to work well in our house. Cingular GSM does not work in our house. So far no connection problems with Verizon in one year of use.Was this review helpful to you?
