Never a dropped call, strong service, and that holds true for pretty much everywhere I go in the valley (no exaggerating.) I'm mostly in the east valley(Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Tempe) but also Scottsdale and PHX, good in Glendale too. Only issue I have is the phone doesn't work well in some (I stress some) steel buildings. I was tempted to Switch to Sprint PCS because I really like the Treo 650 PDA Phone, and as of today (9 / 1 / 05) they've completed another phase of the merger (Sprint / Nextel), but I'm not reading good things about them. I'd like to hear more stories from Sprint PCS users. Was this review helpful to you?

I switched to Verizon from AT&T back in 2002 and I have loved Verizon's service and enjoyed being on the "best network" until last month when I moved from Gilbert to Queen Creek. Service SUCKS to say the least. My phone is always searching system for a signal and draining my battery while at my house or within a mile radius of my house. My signal is weak coming down Ironwood Rd, but I can usually still make a call if I needed to. I do have to give Verizon credit though, they are at least willing to admit that Queen Creek is a hard area. They said they have a tower / antenna in Johnson Ranch which I think is true because if I go south on Ironwood towards Johnson Ranch I get a signal again, but at my house the service sucks. I am torn because I know a lot of people on Verizon, but it would be nice to have serivce at my house as well. So, we will see what happens, if I can find better service I just might pay the early termination fee and switch to something else. Was this review helpful to you?
CDMA seems to work well in our house. Cingular GSM does not work in our house. So far no connection problems with Verizon in one year of use.Was this review helpful to you?
Cingular is horrible on Rural road south or Baseline. Almost no reception at Rural and Chandler Blvd. Was this review helpful to you?
I cannot get service in my home at all. I have to go outside and even then I sometimes cannot get service or my calls are dropped. I would not recommend their service to anyone. I can't wait for my contract to be up.Was this review helpful to you?

When I started my service it was with AT&T since then they were taken over by Cingular. I am very disappointed in the cellular service they provide. Cingular Says that they are aware that there is NO SIGNAL in this area. My work takes me to Queen Creek Arizona and I have NO SIGNAL there. When I am in those areas I cannot be reached due to NO SIGNAL. Another interesting point regarding their POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I went to pay my cellular bill at their Chandler, Arizona office. They would not accept my payment. I was told that I either had to mail my check or if I cancelled my contract they could accept my check immediately. I called Cingular about this and was put on hold for 45-minutes. Eventually I hung up. I also wrote Cingular about this too. Cingular has not responded. Was this review helpful to you?
I haven't had one clear or strong phone call in the three days I've had the phone. My Samsung phone by Sprint got much better reception. Was this review helpful to you?
