I get awesome reception around here and I have Cingular prepaid. Which from what I know prepaid usually gets worse service then normal contracts. The only time I ever lose any bars is when I either leave the Chandler area or am in a crowded area with alot of electronics that interfere with the signal. Other then that the service is great around never have had a problem. Was this review helpful to you?
Best with Verizon. Have Sprint and it drops calls all the time. Very noisy. When I first got Verizon I kept asking people "can you hear me now?" because it is so crystal clear that I get no backround noise. Their service is even better than my home land line. Was this review helpful to you?
East Valley signal strength is no existent. I see "Emergency Only" or "No Service" far more than I see even one bar. I-60 corridor from Power to 87 has a lot of spots where signal is non existent. Guadalupe is worse for same grid. If I get a signal, call drops within a few minutes every time or phone locks up where I am sure I am being billed but the connection is dead and have to power the phone off. Co-worker has Cingular, different phone, same terrible reception. My phone is nothing more than an expensive paperweight. Was this review helpful to you?
Awful reception! I can't believe that the positive comments about Verizon in Mesa are genuine! Was this review helpful to you?
Will be a phone call and as soon as I drive in that area, the call drops and I cannot get reception until I am well south of Elliott or just south of Guadalupe. Was this review helpful to you?
As soon as you enter into the N.E. corner of Cooper Rd.and Chandler Heights Rd.esp regarding Countryside Estates Community Development, reception is lost and there is no service for Cricket phones. Service is regained further away from where it was initially lost. Service area usually returns 2-3 miles east and 1-2 miles north of this intersection. There is intermittent service and have continuously dropped calls also at the intersection of Cooper Rd. / Riggs Rd. in Chandler, Az.Was this review helpful to you?
Had Qwest for 5 years loved the customer service hated the coverage. Dropped calls all the time. Missed half the calls that came in...Was this review helpful to you?
I recently moved out to Queen Creek where before I have had Sprint. Surprisingly, I did get a signal with Sprint with maybe one or two bars, but never did I have a "dead" signal. I had the Samsung A730, and I made and received calls with no problem. Living out and away from the big city, I had to get a phone that had good reception. Already being through T-Mobile (HORRIBLE), Verizon (TOO EXPENSIVE) and they didn't cover for me very well, Sprint (NO COMPLAINTS), and Alltel (NO COMPLAINTS), and now Nextel, I am extremely disappointed with the service that I get with this phone. Already they are having problems with the phone with the text messeging, and people who call in with the problem are put on a "list", whatever that means. When I went into the Nextel store, they told me that Queen Creek was one of the best coverage areas in the Southern half of Arizona. So far, No Service (that is displayed on my phone as of right now) isn't the best service. I am going to pay the early termination fee and switch either back to Sprint or cingular. Any rejections to Cingular please tell me.Was this review helpful to you?
Dropped calls every few minutes. Sometimes cannot place calls. Also, missed calls can take hours to alert. Verizon confirmed in 2004 with an onsite test and cited the eastern hills as the source of the problem. They said no plans to improve for 2 years. I think that will not change until the loop 202 is finished in this area. Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T Wireless (GSM)
I get "no service" or "Emergency Only" all the time now. I loved ATT TDMA service... GSM SUCKS. I got dropped calls all the time around AZ Mills Mall, dropped calls on Southern and Mill. Reception in my house is 0. no service. I have to stand outside to get 1-2 bars... and even then it cuts in and out.Was this review helpful to you?
