T-Mobile

With T-Mobile it really depends onthe phone you are useing.. Fro example with a moterola or erickson phone you will find bad reception but with a Samsung phone you should expireiance the best coverage available. Better than all other carriers..

I get great reception most of the time 4 - 5 bars, BUT 95% of all calls (incoming and out going) get dropped within 2 minutes. I've had two different phones and have had the same exact result. In Seattle, WA I lived on the phone and never dropped a single call so it's not the phone, it's just the Phoenix area has bad coverage.

T-Mobile's coverage is horrible... whether you are... roaming the dirt roads of north western phx or the opulent neighborhoods of North Scottsdale / Paradise Valley, the coverage plainly sucks... may be at the T-Mobile booth where they hawk service plans in malls will you find decent reception... get Verizon / Cingular... i'd say... (I mean if you bars dip from a measly three bars to a one or zero when you pass under a cactus... thats just crappy infrastructure... to begin with.)

Sprint says phone is the problem but other friends that have Sprint have same problem. Phoenix just seems to be a bad market for cell providers.

Very poor reception. Most of the time calls rarely get through to me and therefore I get many voice messages hours later. When calls do come through, I can't carry on a conversation for very long and 99% of the time the call is dropped and / or the conversation is very choppy. Considering that I live downstairs on a two-story house, I am surprised by the AT&T coverage as upstairs reception is a little better and I usually get up to two bars of reception (out of four). Very good phone, Nokia 3360; otherwise very good service in more developed areas than that of Queen Creek. Just moved out from Southern California where service there was near to perfect with my phone on the TDMA network with AT&T. I have yet to find a carrier that has near decent reception in Queen Creek (Ocotillo / Ironwood). Verizon, T-Mobile, and Qwest also get horrible reception out here possibly because there are no cell phone towers here.

Most of the time, the phone will ring when a call comes through, but I cannot carry on a full conversation most of the time... inside and outside the house... it is very choppy and will cut in and out and occasionally drop calls.

Sprint has got to be the worst! Fair only if driving around. However at my house my parents house and my work I dont get any reception.. So I guess it is good if you dont want to go over your minutes. Also they charge from the moment you push send not the moment the other person picks-up.

Although it seems to have improved a little recently, still very bad reception. Calls always cut in and out. Unable to have any conversations.

Coverage is very bad throughout the area with the motorola V505, however my wifes Nokia 6200 works perfectly. I'm beginning to believe that it has less to do with AT&T coverage than the phone model. I've yet to find an area that the Nokia 6200 is subject to spotty coverage. It either receives or doesn't and it receives in more places than the Motorola.
