Absolutely no reception in or outside.. Coverage is very spotty and laughable when I'm getting it.. Had to resort to an airave after months of calling in... Avoid Sprint at all costs. You're better off paying more for service you'll actually get elsewhere!

My service is okay over in Gilbert but very slow. When I lived in Scottsdale I could not even hold a call. I have the airwave they send out and it does work however, not compatible with all internet modems. Currently wont work with Centurylink. The price and plans are GREAT but I cant handle the undepenable service any longer. I am starting to think you do get what you pay for. Verizon here I come.

For the first two months of service with Sprint my phone worked perfectly with great coverage.( after regretfully leaving verizon) I am losing calls, not able to send text messages or use my pandora on my smart phone. I wish I stayed with verizon. this is ridiculous being in a large city and not having coverage to make 1 call without it being dropped.

Verizon

I've been a Verizon customer for about 12 years. The service finally degraded to the point that I had wildly fluctuating "bars" and voice calls going in and out. This occurred for both of our phones, in and out of the house. Verizon first failed to follow up (techs not returning calls), then gave poor instructions (Mark 5-8 calls, then wait for us to call you back, when the system then "dropped" my ticket as I wasn't marking any more calls.) Then told it was SIM card (no, both our phones). Finally Verizon admits I am in a "marginal service area" that is getting worse because of lots of new customers. They MAY improve service in a year (how unspecified.) I was told to get a new piece of equipment so I could get my voice calls over the internet (yet continue to pay Verizon for service they can't provide.) FINALLY they admit I can leave Verizon without any penalty (contract fee)-- we'll see. I am told to "find another provider that works better" and switch. Of course, one can't know if the service is better until the change is made-- it could be worse, right? Any thoughts on a better provider in my area?

T-Mobile

T-Mobile voice service unavailable for 3 blocks in each direction of this location -- yet they claim quality service here, Guess they never send a technician out with something as simple as "Open Shight" to really check their coverage. It is an absolute dead zone!

Sprint sucks! Towers down in East Valley, terrible customer service, they really don't give a crap about their customers. Avoid Sprint, wish I had never left VZ.

Dorms have no reception for ATT customers, however those with Verizon have full service. Spoke with several reps. Told it was my sim card. Not. But what is their excuse for the other people in our dorm using ATT who also don't have reception? Also, told microcells would not help. Very frustrated. Brought a prepaid Verizon to use.

I seem I cant find a cell service that works well in this area at all. Tried T mobile and now Sprint and both suck on service calls drop reception is bad. They put up 2 new cell towers and I guess none of them are tied into Sprint. I am looking into no contract if I am going to have bad service I should be paying way less a month since it seems no cell service want to step it up to provide better service mine as well pay less so I expect what I pay for instead of paying 80 or 90 a month for crappy service. If everyone started doing that this companies would loose big time and step it up to get business back.
