Dorms have no reception for ATT customers, however those with Verizon have full service. Spoke with several reps. Told it was my sim card. Not. But what is their excuse for the other people in our dorm using ATT who also don't have reception? Also, told microcells would not help. Very frustrated. Brought a prepaid Verizon to use.

I seem I cant find a cell service that works well in this area at all. Tried T mobile and now Sprint and both suck on service calls drop reception is bad. They put up 2 new cell towers and I guess none of them are tied into Sprint. I am looking into no contract if I am going to have bad service I should be paying way less a month since it seems no cell service want to step it up to provide better service mine as well pay less so I expect what I pay for instead of paying 80 or 90 a month for crappy service. If everyone started doing that this companies would loose big time and step it up to get business back.

Voice and Data coverage absolutely PERFECT on VERIZON.

I seem to have perfect signal all throughout the East Valley area. 4G everywhere.

Data Coverage has always been kind of back and forth in this area. Today, I get no data connection at all, but I do at home.

No 4G, no 3G, constant roaming in downtown Phoenix and the east valley. Cannot make a 5 minute call without multiple drops. Text messages are delayed for hours. Emails cannot be sent. Sprint refuses to support Arizona in any way and will lie to you repeatedly. Do not trust them in Arizona. You will get no service and no support. They sent me an airrave, which is a packetsniffer that if you don't install in front of your router, they fine you heavily. Their answer for their terrible service is to charge you more money and track your internet. Ugh.

Very poor signal here. Using the phone in our house is not really possible as 9 out 10 calls are dropped or never connected.

Okay, so I feel I would be doing you all a grim injustice if I didn't leave my input. Sprint is quite possibly the worst company in existence today. The entire company is built upon lies. From the morons at the store counter LYING to you about how 4G in phoenix is "right around the corner!" to the BS coverage map that somehow tells me all the main places I hangout are in the 'Best' reception area, yet my grandfather can get it up faster than my miserable reception. I literally have 1 bar in each of these places. Don't let unlimited data fool you. I am trying to access the internet constantly, be it stocks, facebook, and youtube (F**king joke, nice try Dan). My last bill said that even though I was struggling to pull up anything in the Phoenix area, I was only able to use half a gig. When you are looking for a carrier, ask yourself this question- What is free data, when you can rarely, if ever, use it? Some other notes: -Dropped calls more than once a day -Searches for signal so often, battery life is drastically affected -At least twice a day I get random 'network busy' errors when I try and make a call or use the internet -I'm basing this all off of a total of 5-6 phones with sprint, over 10 of the past 12 years. Storytime- I had to call the cops on a guy waving a gun in the passenger side of a van along pima rd between chaparral and indian school a few months back. Pay attention to this-- IT TOOK ME 6 ATTEMPTS TO GET 911 TO WORK. This area, according to the coverage map, is the best reception area. This is not an exaggeration by any means. If you need to call the cops for a life-threatening situation, are you going to risk your life to save $10-20 / month? How much is your life worth? Make the right choice. Done venting. If I have saved even one of you from making a terrible decision, I've done my job. Sincerely, Your friend at thomas and hayden.

My wife's been with Sprint for approximately 7 yrs and has had superior service. I switched from cricket March of 2012 go with a shared plan, all was well until we moved Jan 25 from extension and 60 to center and brown we are constantly being bounced from home network to roaming and being kicked off the network in and approximately 1 / 2 mile around house both she and I have made numerous calls and have been lied to about2 towers being down for repairs and back up supposedly with no improvement, now misteriously they are being upgraded. yet still they want me to buy internet to hookup they're airrave you've gotta be pulling my leg, I've gotta purchase something, from someone else, I'm paying you for, so your service will work? it would be like me reffering them to someone else to pay my bill.

Bought a home in Boulder Mountain Estates. Have horrible cell coverage. Bought a signal booster and new iphones to help. Can get service in 1 room in our home but anywhere else have dropped calls frequently. Verizon no help... .seem mostly interested in selling new plans and equipment. Neighbors with other carriers fare no better. Is there anywhere to go to encourage erection of a tower to help solve the problem? We have a number of physical barriers(mountains) that complicate the problem. HOA may be interested in a tower if it would fit into the environment.
