Reception is so poor I don't get ringing, but the you have messages tone when I come into a strnger area. Calls are dropped, You can't hear the person you called nor they you intermitted. I will never deal with Sprint or Nextel ever again. I have had big problems with both regardless of the phone model. Verizen seems to be furnish the best reception in this area, I don't know about others, but historically AT&T has been poor in Gilbert from Elliot south between McQueen and Val Vista or the eastern city limits. My contract lasts until Nov, but attempts to stop service because of the inability to receive calls, carrys no weight with the provider. DO NOT BUY a Sprint phone if you live in these areas! Was this review helpful to you?
Never have had a dropped call. I have run into few dead areas (Papago Park Zoo) I am making regular trips to Tucson (Speedway and Tuscon) without a problem. Can not make calls to and from Houston. My cell is my primary phone line. I was going to change carriers, but might not now.Was this review helpful to you?
Stay away from Sprint if you live anywhere near Ray and Greenfield, down to Williams Field road, it's one big Dead Zone, and Sprint won't even change out my phone to help me.Was this review helpful to you?
Barely any signal in or around our house. The Verizon customer "service" rep told me I am in a whole forest of cell phone towers (their words) and should have great reception. We can barely hold a phone conversation and most of the time we can't hear the other party (and vice-versa). Verizon support said there was nothing they could do and that it had to be some kind of interference near my house. They were however very carefull not to agree with me that switching service sounded like the only option (they did not give any others). My daughter's TMobile phone works perfectly in our house so I don't think it is interference. We are done with Verizon as soon as our contracts are up unless they are resolving the issue. Was this review helpful to you?
On Shea just past FLW heading east the Sprint Service drops calls 99% of the time... in addition to areas on Via Linda, 136th South of Shea and other areas. It does not matter what type of phone you have, it happens on them all. Do all Services have this problem?? Isn't there some provider that has quality coverage? Was this review helpful to you?

Very Bad or No reception in my home and rarely when I step out on my balcony. Have had this service for 2+ years and haven't been pleased with it from day 1. I'm hesitant to switch providers due to the fact I may be jumping out of a flame and into a fire. Hard to determine which provider is going to be the best for my area. Was this review helpful to you?
At work in Tempe, I get little to no service for some reason. Recently relocated from Texas and have had no problems in Maricoa County, but if you get far from any Interstate Hwy. then the service is virtually non-existant. Need new service to work east of Mesa. Was this review helpful to you?
I have been with T-Mobile for over 2 years now. I use to live in Tempe and I did not have that much of a problem but since moving to Gilbert, I have been through 3 phones (different brands) and I get: 1) dropped calls during almost every call 2) Messages each day such as: Network rejected or Call failed. 3) Messages that come to me, arrive later than when sent and are usually garbled. If there is even a slight wind or at night... forget about it. I have to wait to see if they leave a message and then drive to the Walmart parking lot up the road to make a call. First off, I have to tell you that my experience with the T-Mobile store at Gilbert and Baseline has been great. We have tried 3 different phones and the problems still exist. My daughter has T-Mobile and her reception, etc. is fine. My husband has Nextel and he never has a problem, so I am thinking of switching to them. Anyone have any issues similar to mine? Thanks! Was this review helpful to you?
Many dropped calls. Highly variable signal -- swings wildly from 0 to 5.Was this review helpful to you?
