Customer Servie is NON-Existant. They don't care. I have called about 10 times to complain about loss of signal, dropped calls, no service, etc... Thay have no record of my complaints. Unlimited minutes is a scam! Was this review helpful to you?

I can't tell you how bad Cingular is. I had to call 8 times before they would discuss switching phones. We had no service either at our home. Then they tried to charge me for someone elses phones. They would not try to find out how the charge had happened they just shut off my phone service. Talk about a company where the right hand doesn't know what the left had is doing Cingular is the one. I'll bet my phone log on their end is 5 pages at least and it is still not fixed. I have been on the phone with them a total of 4 hours and... They said they would wave the charges for the phones I never ordered and what did they do they moved the bill to current charges so I have to do the same thing next month. I have to put up with this until this coming Christmas and then I'm out of the Cingular black hole. I don't know how they stay in business. We were brought over from AT&T that is how we ended up with them. If you are thinking of Cingular I would suggest you run as fast as you can the other way!Was this review helpful to you?
Read in an mostly unbiased magazine (everything is a little biased) about the coverage in the Phoenix area. It went like this... 1. Verizon 2. Alltell 3. T Mobil 4. Sprint / Nextel 5. Cingular. I had Cingular before and now I know why their coverage is so horrible. Haven't had any problems with Verizon thus far except for if you go east of the 101 (north / south) which is indian reservation. Even then you can still make / receive phone calls on an extended network. Compare coverage maps side by side, it's no comparison! I can vouch for that. As for coverage in Tempe, there is always coverage. Buy Verizon already. Was this review helpful to you?
i think virgin has one of the better receptions out there the only place I couldnt get reception so far was up in the mountains in prescott but i'm constantly in scottsdale and mesa and I get great reception but the plans arent great for virgin spending $50 a month for only 350 anytime minutesWas this review helpful to you?
Drops calls all the time. Switching phones per request of sales to see if helps. This will be third phone and generally there has been little to no improvement. Was this review helpful to you?
Sprint is worthless if you live in Scottsdale, I get dropped calls or no service at Scottsdale Mtn. 136th St. Also going from Via Linda W. to Frank Lyod zero service and also merging onto the 101 freeway from 99th St / Pima South zero service. I've had them for 2yrs. and hate them, Verizon and T-Mobile seem to be the only way to talk. Was this review helpful to you?
Decent reception. Few dropped calls. A couple holes in service due to the McDowell mountains. Was this review helpful to you?
Very poor reception in house. I lose the single walking from one room to another. Outside reception is better but still unacceptable. Bought this phone because at the time it was suppose to have the best reception-HA! I once spoke with a Sprint PCS gut at a local trade show about the problem. He had a field engineer fllow up with me about trying to improve it. I never saw any change. Going to go to Verizon next (and taking my four phones with me!).Was this review helpful to you?
Poor reception -- 0 bars of reception in the house. The calls go through and I don't get dropped often in the house (although my calls are frequently dropped throughout the Valley), but reception is poor. A friend said if I get a tri-mode phone I'll get better reception from Verizon in this area. Was this review helpful to you?
