AT&T
Dropped calls all the time. Occasional call to someone on my contact list and end up connected to someone else's conversation (NOT the person on my contact list that is listed on my phone screen) No service in most of my house and a lot of areas of Tucson. I complained a lot and eventually they let me out of my contract so I switched to Verizon. So far so good. Much better service.

I just cant believe all the lies by Cingular, as I have read and personally heard. The service stinks. It seems they make enough money from all of us here who gets terrible reception, to put in a tower or two. But I guess we have to learn the hard way. Since they refuse to do anything about it. I have Dropped Calls daily. no reception at all daily. Its just terrible. They would sure fine us to stop their service early, but to bad we cant find them for their awefull service.

I live in Rita Ranch and I get only 1 bar. The slogan about raising the bar does not apply here and for what I can see most of Tucson.

Reception along Sunrise area between about Orange Grove and Swan is terrible. Dropped calls if there's a signal at all. Most of the time in this area I have no signal at all.

I had had bad reception at my apartment with my old Motorola V180 since I moved to my current apartment in August '05. So, I got a Nokia because it was supposed to have the best reception of any T-Mobile compatible model at the time (October '05). I get good reception with my phone in much of Tucson--always a full signal anywhere on the U of A campus, even in my basement office. However, the reception in my apartment is spotty at best. I am lucky to get three to four bars (of a total of seven). I drop almost any call at about the half-hour point or earlier. I have had good customer service with T-Mobile since Feb 2003. I had great reception with the Motorola in my previous home in Lexington, KY and before that in Bowling Green, OH. But I'm at my breaking point with the crappy reception in my current apartment. I'm definitely moving to Verizon and snagging the Motorola E815 (supposed to be one of the best for reception) when my contract is up in October or when someone takes over my contract on celltradeusa. Areas where I get no service at all: Albertson's on Glenn and Campbell, anywhere in the Sonoran-Desert Museum.

Have had Sprint for over 3 years and get decent coverage around Tucson except at home where you might get one bar. Reported this to Sprint and was told that this area is a known black hole and there was no fix in site.

Drops 8 of 10 calls from home. Good service locations I frequent are rare.

Must go outside to make or receive calls that are then usually dropped. Awful.

I switched my phone from old ATT to Cingular GSM in April. At first I got a Motorola RAZR. Reception was terrible. The RAZR just does NOT work on Cingular. Switched to a Sony Ericsson Z520 and it works much better.

Cingular sucks. I'm a former AT&T customer. Two months after dropping $400 on my phone those jerk weeds told me I would have to buy a new one to be on the "Cingular" network. I told them to bite me. Half the time I have no service in my house. I may set up a fire pit in my backyard and start sending smoke signals which is light years better than no signal.
