Verizon
Poor reception. Constant dropped calls. At least a 17% drop rate, if not more

Dropped calls, texts won't go through, no ring for incoming calls

Phone keeps beeping and tells me there will be a roaming charge applied if I use the phone. Typical lousy service I have come to expect from Sprint. I only used them because I am with CREDO mobile, which used to be Working Assets and is a socially responsible organization. Unfortunately, it appears trying to do the right thing comes at the cost of poor reception.

Where to start? The reception is very very poor. phone calls drop more than the Kardashians panties when they see a black entertainer!

Tangerine and Oracle, poor Dove Mountain, near Ritz Carleton, no reception at all

I live and work in the same area and am paying for service on a phone that doesn't ring. I have to go outside to send a text to a phone that isn't an Apple product.

Converted from T-Mobile a couple years ago and found the reception perfect by comparison to Tmobile. Things could have changed since but inconvenient to change, when you already have the best.

This is a new apartment complex. While visiting there I received no bars at all on my phone. If I went outside I was lucky to get 2 bars. I could not even make a call.

I am thoroughly disgusted with Sprint. When I discovered a few years ago that the new tower under construction at the corner of Broadway Blvd.and Randolph Way was for Sprint 4G, my hopes soared because I live closer than a mile from that tower and my Sprint service had always been lousy, with a single bar of 3G and calls dropping and fading, even if I stayed rooted to a single spot during a conversation. Well, that 4G tower made zero difference in my Sprint signal. How can that possibly be? I live LESS THAN HALF A MILE from the tower! Several months ago I went into the Sprint store at Broadway and Campbell and mentioned the poor signal, so they pulled up a tower report and, to my dismay and disgust, was told that the tower configuration was complete and that I could hope for no further improvement. They offered me an Airave device at no charge, but that's a pretty lame solution because all it does is use the Internet to fake a stronger cellular signal in your house. What if I had no Internet? I'd be SOL. So, I'm dumping Sprint as soon as my contract is up and will probably go with T-Mobile (can't beat unlimited data), which seems to have the right idea about a lot of things cellular, even if their nationwide coverage isn't the greatest. At least that gives them some incentive to improve! Sprint owns all of the cellular spectrum and sells slices to its competitors, so I'm guessing their carrier business is secondary. It shows!

To put it simple, Sprint in Tucson sucks. Other places, it's average at best. Sprint advertises "4G LTE" in Tucson. I get LTE in places few and far between. Mostly on the east side around Broadway and Camino Seco, some parts on Speedway, but even at my own house (Campbell and 6th) it's ALWAYS on 3G. The calls drop frequently and overall just very dissatisfied. On a scale of 1-10 on the service in Tucson, I'd say 3 at best. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
