T-Mobile
No reception problems fixed I can see! I've been with them for five years. These guys are very rude and not helpfull. I drop calls all day as I drive all over Tucson with my current job. I'm stuck because of huge cancellation fees and phones that break forcing me to renew. I'm so glad Cingular is here. I think I will like them better.

Calls drop everytime at 22nd / Kolb area, also Speedway / Kolb and several places in Sierra Vista as well. Had the Motorola replaced, didn't help a bit. T-Mobile said they would investigate, yeah right. They won't let me out of contract because "it works in your home." They said they would credit me minutes... I don't need minutes, I need cell phone service that works!

Have a LG-325 / sprint and I need to walk outside to get ok reception. Reception inside is poor at best. Colossal Cave Rd.has a dead spot heading down the hill from the rail road tracks. Old Spanish Trail is not much better with many dead spots. Heard Verizon is better out here.

My expereience with Cingular in Tucson hasn't been all that bad, pretty consistent fair to good coverage all over Tucson, with some noteable exceptions: weak reception (sometimes) on east Broadway, Old Spanish Trail near Cmno Loma Alto, River near Flowing wells park. But really, overall not bad, and my family, nationwide plan is comparatively inexpensive.

Moved here from Chicago where Sprint was great - Tucson has little to no reception all around the city. Constantly dropped calls or could get no signal to begin with.

The Rita Ranch area appears to be a huge hole in T-Mobile coverage. My Cingular v180 gets 2-3 bars at the Fry's, but T-Mobile is no service.

You can never go wrong with ALLTEL, unless you live out in Vail or Sahuarita. Other than that it works everywhere!

Low signal strength in Foothills area. Usually get 2-3 bars at home in Finisterra (unless blocked by a hill in which case there is no signal strength). 2-3 bars is enough to get good reception, but I only get this in certain locations at home.

Have to go on front porch to get good reception. Elsewhere, no problem. Will try a new phone soon.

Dropped calls at home residence; must go into backyard to ensure no dropped calls. All family members (4) experience dead zones along First Ave south of Orange Grove to River Rd, Campbell south of Skyline to River Rd, Skyline east of Orange Grove intersection to Swan. We formerly had Verizon, which was better in terms of reception (but billing issues). My suggestion: if you live in area or frequent the area, look too another provider. We most definitely will once our 2-year subscription ends.
